Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins:
> Bell's Cabin- Main cabin that sleeps up to six
> The Chatham House- Sleeps up to ten
> Chief's Cottage- sleeps up to ten
All cabins have their own separate listing and can be booked together or combined.
The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed.
All cabins come equipped with full bathrooms, updated kitchens, wood stoves, and the main cabin has a walkout porch on the second floor. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water.
Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life.
The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land.
There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property.

Weekend Trip to Glamp at Coyote Creek
The campsite is so great for our needs: 3 good sized tents for our families to camp together. They're close enough that the little kids can safely run between them and around the common area but not so close it's noisy for each other. The grills, fire pits, dishwashing stations and toilet/shower amenities are clean, useful, well-maintained and appreciated. As were the badminton net and swings! Loved our second annual trip here.

I spent two days here this weekend.
I arrived a little late on Friday.
Cindy's preparation was perfect. I didn't have to do anything else. Also, Cindy explained everything kindly, and even I, who spoke English badly, could easily understand it.
I would like to thank Cindy.
The weather was perfect, and the sound of grass bugs at night was also nice. Cleanly maintained facilities made camping even more enjoyable. I'll visit you again next time.

Plenty of beautiful space on the property! The ponds are a particularly a wonderful and beautiful feature (good for fishing!). The campfire area is shared between the three cabins. Very close to good hiking, Delaware Watergap Area and 20 minutes from downtown Newton.

We had an excellent time staying at Bell’s Cabin. David was a great host and the property is beautiful. We are already talking about when we can visit again.
Our trip was very relaxed, playing board games and enjoying the cabin fireplace. The full kitchen was clean and well-stocked with equipment. The cabin was very comfortable, with multiple nice beds and a very nice bathroom. It’s clear that the property is well-taken care of.
I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a relaxed and comfortable time in the woods.

We really loved David's Camp! Everything was beautifully designed, maintained and clean. David greeted us in person and gave us a jar of food to feed the fish in the pond which our toddler absolutely loved. The entire campsite is a labor of love and had a nice human touch that we appreciated. Hope to be back in the summer!

Amazing place to spend time away from all. Quiet, well kept and clean. Major plus was the shower with hot water for colder days. Cindy was very attentive, provided a flashlight for our late checkout, walk through the place, hospitality was amazing. Host made sure we were comfortable. Definitely will comeback again.
