What a great site! I returned to this hipcamp because of the privacy, ease of booking and communication, and of course the site itself. Even with a frosty layer of snow we had no trouble getting to the site. The fairytale lights in the tree made the site feel more enchanting. This time I even preordered some fresh eggs, which the owner’s thoughtfully brought out and had ready for me soon my arrival. I truly look forward to returning once the weather warms up. Thank you for letting stay!

Had a great stay over thanksgiving. Site is awesome and wonderfully maintained. Has plenty of room to swing around and set up how ever you like. New power pole with 50 amp, 30 amp, and 20 amp plugs on dedicated breakers.

We loved this amazing camp, peaceful and quiet and great for our dogs. The site is very spacious and easy to get in and out, even with a larger RV. It’s nice to be so close to the water. One of our dogs is reactive and this is a perfect Hipcamp for him where we can all relax together. Will definitely be back.

I really enjoyed this Hipcamp site. The hosts were quick to respond and even set up the fire pit with wood. It was private, clean, and even lit with lights in the tree above the picnic table. One of the things that I loved about this site is the ability to buy fresh eggs or firewood if needed. I will definitely remember that in the future when I return.

This spot was amazing and exactly as advertised. It was so quiet and peaceful, but we weren't so out in the woods that we felt uncomfortable or too isolated. The layout is simple so setting up our camper was easy, and the area is cozy.

An amazing stay at a beautiful property! It was a little hard to find- when I clicked the directions option on the booking, it took me to two different places that were both incorrect. The address for the campground is 262 depot street, and the campground map is difficult to find- doesn’t seem to be on the Hipcamp site. Our friends booked the river run site so we were able to take over the whole area, and our dogs could run around and play which was great! Very private and secluded, though it might have felt too close if people at the adjoining site (river run) were strangers. We will definitely be back, so many cool and different options for lodging!!

The property is absolutely gorgeous with amazing views of the mountains from anywhere you are. We stayed at River run tent site and LOVED it. The tenting, bathhouse and air bb sites are all so well maintained and cute. We loved that it was so spaced out between sites, making it feel private and more immersed in the beautiful NH mountains. Public beach available to guests that’s right on the river. The little reception cabin had anything you might need and availability to buy wood bundles at anytime. We will definitely be back!

We loved Baker's Rock. We booked Into the Woods for a weekend with a couple of friends and we had a wonderful time disconnecting from the world. Bathrooms and showers were close by and clean. Amanda is extremely accommodating and welcoming! We plan to come back again next year to check out another Baker's Rock sites.

I loved staying at Amanda’s campsite! It is absolutely lovely with a nice view of the little mountain nearby and the river. The fire pit is super nice and there are chairs provided, as well as a whole picnic table! It’s easy to get to and I liked that I could pull my car into the site for easy unloading. Amanda was wicked accommodating and helpful. We actually had to come back a different night due to a fire ban and we were super thankful Amanda was flexible and allowed us to change our reservation. 10/10 would recommend! Also, the bathroom was awesome. Super clean and the shower was warm!!! You can’t get better for a price like this.

Mountain Brook Hideaway has just become our favorite Hipcamp! This is what all Hipcamps should strive for. Beautiful, private location, with so many hiking trail options. Level parking area with power, picnic table, Adirondack chairs, kayaks and a pond! The perfect fire pit was awesome. One of the trees lit up at night!
David and Laurie were perfect hosts. We will definitely be going back!

The sites were well spaced out with a great view of the surrounding mountains. The open field near the campsite had spectacular stargazing views as well. The site and bathroom facilities were clean and Amanda was responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

Baker Rocks was blissful. I will definitely stay there again. So much love and care has been put into this stunning property with everything you could need in their little store from Firewood to bug spray. Only recommendations is to improve the shower system as there was no hot water even during the day. But as I see showers as a "pampered plus" when camping, it was no big deal. Absolutely love! Check out the Last Chair Brewery just up the road for a bite to eat.

We LOVED this peaceful and pristine site. David and Laurie welcomed us in and were easy to reach. The sunrise and the sounds of wildlife added to the charm. Owners took great care and thought in this site. Level gravel site, fire pit with Adirondack chairs, new picnic table, and firewood on site for purchase through an app. The fairly lights in the tree just added to the night time ambiance. Oh, fresh eggs available, too! Because we have a reactive dog, Hipcamp gives us access to awesome, single sites like this. Would definitely return.

Serene and lovely spot. Such a gem that we truly enjoyed exploring, our dogs loved playing and swimming at the waters edge and the string lights, chairs, and kayaks were such thoughtful touches; we loved exploring the pond with the kayaks. We weren’t able to meet our hosts due to inclement weather the day we were supposed to get there, but were able to communicate the entire time. Highly recommend

Our stay at Mountain Brook Hideaway was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how spacious, quiet, and private the site was—it felt like our own little retreat tucked away in nature. We loved having the water all to ourselves, which made mornings so peaceful and gave us plenty of opportunities to sit back and watch the birds flying over.
Kayaking was one of our favorite parts of the trip. There were so many cool places to explore—hidden crevices, winding passages, and even several beaver lodges that the kids were so excited to discover. It really felt like a hidden adventure at every turn. Back at camp, the kids enjoyed hours in the hammock while our dog loved being able to roam freely and safely in the wide open space.
Our hosts, David and Laurie, were wonderful. Before our trip, they even sent us information on local hiking trails, which we really appreciated—it made planning so much easier and added even more fun to our adventure. On site, they made sure everything was just right, and it was such a treat to be able to purchase firewood right at the campsite. We even got a dozen fresh eggs from their farm, which made breakfast around the campfire extra special.
Everything about Mountain Brook Hideaway exceeded our expectations—the peace and quiet, the natural beauty, and the thoughtful touches from the hosts. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already planning our next visit. This place is truly a gem!
