Contrary to popular belief, Nevada is not all desert. In fact, it's the most mountainous state in the nation. Naturally, it's home to numerous yurt glamping options. Some of the best Nevada yurts are found around Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada for summer stays, or near Las Vegas and Lake Mead in winter. Many of these glamping rental options feature amenities like futons or queen beds, solar lights, barbecue grills, picnic tables, or even access to a full kitchen or wifi. For a rural getaway, head to the Ruby Mountains and Lamoille Canyon near Elko, where backcountry yurts and tiny houses come with mountain views. If you don't mind straying away from the Silver State for a yurt rental on the water, head into the nearby California foothills to Placerville or Nevada City on the Yuba River.
