Welcome to our campground! We are a "Roadside" Campground that offers the convince of easy on/off access to Hwy 90 and the close proximity to Bozeman. We are adjacent to Hwy 90 and the Montana Rail System.
We have a variety of options that should suit just about anyone. We are near Yellowstone National Park as well as Bozeman, MT which offers all types of recreational opportunities e.g. hiking, fishing, climbing, skiing, cycling and running trails.
VanGoBoon is the perfect "Pull-in for the Night" as well as week-long stays! Most of our sites are SELF-CONTAINED. We have 4 sites that have electric and water hookups. (20,30,50amp)
The lawn area has horseshoes, frisbee golf, and corn toss. We mostly offer dry campsites for overnight stays for vans, tents or RVs . Most sites are on concrete slabs so they are level and the property has grass areas with trees as well.
FYI: Great site if you like trains! An important part of Montana’s commerce is transportation by rail so there will be highway and train noise. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to have noise-cancelation devices handy.
Private spots between trees but near freeway for easy access. Our 2 horses have been a favorite with young campers along with the open yet private campsites! We look forward to welcoming you!

We have a playground open for use by our guests. Our place is close to shopping, restaurants, and fuel stations. We are also less than a half mile from the Yellowstone River. Horses can be boarded for $25 a night per horse.

We are only four miles to downtown Livingston and 39 miles to the entrance of Yellowstone park . We have an airstream on the property that is for our own personal use and is not for rent.Please keep in mind that you must have your own self-contained RV to stay with us, there is no tent or primitive camping. Water and electric are included but we do not have sewer or trash so please plan to contain and pack out any trash that you create.

A clean portapotty is on site starting May 3rd through September 15th. We offer campfire popcorn poppers, complete with kernels, oil and butter! Please ask us about visiting us on the farm, we have a shady outdoor dining room you're welcome to enjoy. Ask for directions to "Sunset Point", its a quick hike to a secret campfire ring with perfect lounge chairs and amazing views! There's always something to do, horses to feed and brush, chickens and ducks that need feed and watched by the pond.
Stargazing and birdwatching are great here, its very dark at night, almost no light pollution, and I've counted 43 different birds! We love biking, hiking, paddle boarding and having campers!

Our property is in a close proximity to the Fairweather Fishing access on the Missouri River. Camping is not allowed at the access so we would be the closest camping site to this great outdoor playground. There is opportunity for fishing, floating, boating, hunting and swimming in the summer . There are groves of mature trees and open sites available. This is directly off of paved county road. The property adjacent to ours has the original ranch house and barn and other outbuildings that were part of the Ponderosa Pine Ranch which owned most of the valley we're in. The ranch house and buildings were divided away from our part of the property several years ago, so we have our home here and what was mostly pasture. The campsites are all pasture grass with trees for shade.
We do not have cell phone service here. We have one site that has 30 amp electricity. Also we do not have trash service .

This spot is in between our barn of 40+ chickens and our 4 happy, friendly cows and our large vegetable garden. Non bird friendly dogs are NOT welcome as our chickens, our dogs named Bill, Clyde and Gus, and 3 super friendly cats are free range on our property. We are located a few minutes from downtown Belgrade, 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman, minutes to fishing, kayaking, paddling, floating on several rivers and 90 miles from Yellowstone Park which you can easily do day trips to if not wanting to bring your campers through the chaos of traffic. Campers staying more than 3 days get a dozen fresh eggs. Otherwise, they are available for sale.

Overview
Enroute to the Paradise Valley and Yellowstone National Park, Livingston is adjacent to some of America’s most treasured landscapes. RV and tent campgrounds are abundant in and around town, where travelers will find a bustling community with groceries, restaurants, live music, and art displays. Head east to the lower river valley, where small towns dominate the landscape, or north for mountain ranges and big farm country. At less than one hour from Bozeman, Livingston is a nice escape from the city, offering campers adventure in every direction.
Where to go
Yellowstone River
The Yellowstone River flows right through town and offers excellent fishing and whitewater without straying far. Go south towards the park and places like Yankee Jim Canyon have wild rapids or go toward Big Timber where the river broadens but the fishing remains excellent.
Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park is on the wish list for many Livingston visitors and it’s a short drive at roughly one hour to the park entrance. You can camp outside the park and day trip or use Livingston as a jumping off point for a longer journey through the park.
Paradise Valley
Livingston sits at the north end of the Paradise Valley which essentially includes everything between town and the park entrance. Gardiner, Emigrant, and Pray are all amazing small towns to visit and the valley itself is bordered by public lands with camping, hiking and biking trails.
Chico Hot Springs
After camping and exploring the great outdoors, take a trip to Chico Hot Springs, where natural springs have been developed into hot pools at a quaint resort. If camp food has you looking for a break, they also have an amazing restaurant.
When to go
If there’s one thing reliable in Livingston, it’s the wind. Winter and spring are especially wind prone, so campers gravitate toward summer and fall for more comfortable weather conditions, consistent fishing, and warmer temperatures for hiking and mountain biking. That said, there are plenty of mellow winter days, when exploring the valley and greater Yellowstone region can lead to increased wildlife sightings and unique experiences. Snowmobiles make winter exploring a complete rush—or you can opt for quieter methods of travel with snowshoes or skis.
