Enjoy a nostalgic stay in Aira”Bella” – a 25-ft Safari Airstream south of Pleasant Hill, MO; near the Rock Island/Katy Trail. The iconic Airstream combines traditional with modern décor - set in a quiet corner of our lovely 1-acre treed property off a quiet country road.  The intimate patio space provides the perfect get away for a relaxing stay to enjoy your morning drink as the birds serenade you and, in the evenings, watch the sun set from the back yard enjoying the night sky.

The Airstream & porch area are totally reserved for your private use.  You are also welcome to use the other areas of our property including the chairs under the pine trees, badminton court, horseshoe pits, basketball hoop and even the large fire pit area in the back.  If you would like to use the fire pit area please just let us know when so we can reserve it for you/confirm we don’t have plans for that time.  You will find the sports equipment in the black trunk in the Airstream porch area – please be sure to return after use.  There is also a Weber BBW grill & charcoal available for your use.  We just ask that you not place the grill on the artificial turf.  You are welcome to place it in the grass or gravel areas.

Beacon Farm Ministries

Pitch a tent or park a camper or small RV on our nonprofit farm.  We have 5 acres of pasture/garden and 15 acres of woods in the River Bluffs  of NW Missouri.  Find a place in a meadow to star gaze and watch the moon, or hike into the woods for a secluded camping experience.  Beautiful rolling hills, wildlife, wild flowers, peace and quiet are just a few of the perks in this rare location next to the Bluffwoods Conservation Area. 

Be prepared to get your hands dirty with this listing.  All campers have the opportunity to volunteer one hour per day while staying at Beacon Farm.  We are a nonprofit Christian ministry planting God's love one seed at a time. Donating organic produce to those in need here in Saint Joseph.  Your hour of volunteer time each day could consist of harvesting veggies, weeding, stacking wood, milking goats, or any number of other things, depending on the time of year you are here.  We look forward to meeting you and hearing where your travels have taken you.

Roots, Fruits & Greens Farm

The farm is in its tenth growing season, selling eggs and vegetables for home delivery and to some of Kansas City's best restaurants.  

We are so excited to share the beauty of the property with you!

You will be staying on a working farm.  The property is 20 acres with a 2 acre pond, 1 acre of vegetables, two dozen goats, three (large but gentle) guardian dogs, and a flock of chickens, guinea fowl (and sometimes turkeys or quail).  The camp sites are scattered around the property, with several secluded from the main field/barn/campfire.  

Enjoy a day of fishing or strolling the property and finish off a relaxing day by watching the sunset by the fire.

The Hitch N' Post

Enjoy the beautiful timber, canoe pond, peaceful creek, the native wildlife, and the sound of nature throughout the property. Disc golf, hiking trails, canoeing, fishing, and swimming in creeks are favorites by most guests. Guests can also learn how to throw a tomahawk, hunting knife, and atlatl near the camping sites.

Our campsites are just a short walk from the farmhouse ,or drive right to your camp site.   .   To your own private location. If you are bringing an RV, for an additional charge there is a gravel lot with water and electrical hook ups.

Looking for an easy way to cook at camp?? Don't worry there is a grill on site!

The host was so nice and set up a barrier between the ground and our tent since it was chilly out. 

This is a great creek nearby the campsites, our dog enjoyed playing in the water.

Our dog, Tucker, really enjoyed being on the cable getting to play in the leaves.

When we arrived a fire was already built for us with extra firewood nearby.

The hipcamp host taught us alot about hunting and trapping. We enjoyed hearing his stories.

Perdue Homestead Farm

Nestled in historic Platte County, Missouri, our property provides an rural agritourism experience off-grid out in the natural environment.

 

We are 20 minutes from historic Weston, MO, 30 minutes from historic St. Joseph, and 30 minutes from downtown Kansas City.

We are a 420 friendly property.     Campers must comply to all Missouri regulations.

Under no circumstances should visitors trespass over to any of the neighboring properties.    We have had multiple campers trespassing across the fence to the neighbors property.   Neighbors are nice people but because of the multiple incidents and damage done to fences and their property, they did notify me that they will prosecute.    Thank you for respecting this policy.

Milo Farm Sacred Land

Milo Farm was established organically a few years ago.  The energy at Milo so amazing we wanted to share!  There's a story behind the sacredness of this land, Loni can share that with you if you ask!  There are 5 different ecosystems at Milo, all which hold their own magic!🪄

The lodge was built then the camping sites, then the Hippie Trailer, which is located near the west woods near the Fairy Forest. Then the Bunkhouse was established, it's just past the barn on the north end of the property. The lodge, where the Airbnb and pool are is centrally located on the land. We rent out the lower level guest quarters for non-campers.  It has two saunas. There are 2 stocked ponds, miles of trails, pool, Zen garden, farm animals and more. Feel the energy of the sacred land. Find the vortexes here!

Great for the spiritually minded with several meditation spots and portals. Ask about availability of the art golf cart rental if interested.  Loni can take you on a guided history, nature and meditation hike if you sign up for that. There are events happening some weekends you can participate in.  Loni is a spiritual intuitive and can do a reading using the Milo Farm Oracle cards she created!  Ask for availability of these things.  Milo has a lot to offer!
