Frickson Family Farms, LLC.

4 sites · Lodging, RVs180 acres · Dakota, MN
The farming lifestyle, and knowing that this is how we intended to raise our family, led us to transition into the farm-to-table business, selling our products to our family, friends and the public. Together Andy & Darienne, along with their 3 children, work as a team to raise all of the animals and crops. Our land and animals are all handled with proper care. There is no other way we could envision our life than right here on the farm with our children, raising wholesome food for ourselves and others. Come enjoy the beauty overlooking our crop land, shop our farm store, and look at all the livestock. Including cattle, pigs, chickens & goats. We are conveniently located off of Interstate 90 along the Mississippi between MN & WI. Our Farm store is stocked with our home raised fresh & frozen meat - beef, pork, chicken and many other locally sourced food items including honey, Maple syrup, dried goods, dairy, eggs, and more. Seasonal produce as available (Sweet corn & pumpkins in fall) •Electric available for 4 RV’s •Water for 4 RV's not available winter months - hiking trails through our forest new for 2023 (Fire wood provided, donations appreciated.) We Accept all major cards (credit/debit), cash, check or Venmo. Things to do: •Enjoy our state park located 3 miles from our farm if you enjoy hiking or biking. 30 acres of hiking trails through our woods new for 2023 •Feel free to bring your utv and cruise our county roads. •Enjoy an amazing burger (provided by our farm) & drinks at THE SHED Bar and Grill located 4 miles from our farm. •Schedule a tour of the historic Pickwick Mill located about 5 miles from our farm. *Please keep in mind this is a working family farm, there are kids, tractors and equipment running daily, and the smell of farm fresh air. Jeske Equestrian Campground

5 sites · RVs, Tents40 acres · Taylor, WI
The first time we viewed this property, we knew we were home. The woods, fields, wildlife, and house (created almost entirely from the lumber harvested from the land) drew us in. We purchased the home and 40 acres in 2018. Since then it has been a labor of love to make it everything we dream. A campground suitable for horseback riding was the goal for W15266. This was where the original homestead stood (firepit area). That home was transported across 95 on Davis road to become an Amish home. This area was overgrown and filled with rubbish, but still had a great deal of suitable plants hidden in the raspberries. We are continually working to groom it, and eventually, hope to better level the drive and sites and cover them with gravel. We need more and better fire pits and intend to have at least one more cabin- perhaps created from a refurbished corn crib? This cabin was refurbished in 2020 from the original homestead’s summer kitchen (where food was prepared to keep the house from getting too warm). Although it may have been easier to demolish and start over, Julie convinced Craig that the history was worth it. ;) I can’t tell you how disGUSTING it was, but we found treasures like the chair upstairs, the ironing board, and items on the walls and cupboards amongst the piles of Asian beetles and mouse chewings. Our current project you see in front is the bath/shower house. It has a toilet and shower and was completed 2021. With expansion, we will add one more toilet on the other side. The old shed in front, is a disaster. We fluctuate the same way we did with the summer kitchen: bulldoze or refurbish? It currently houses our equipment and lumber, but someday, we are hoping to have a small country Tiki bar. Craig has received the liquor license already. We love tucked away country bars with unique flavors, so we hope we can offer this to our customers. Jeske Equestrian is also a boarding/training facility. We built the horse barn in 2019, and last year we put up a 60x180 indoor riding arena. Maintaining and creating trails has been extensive. Keeping up on the signage and the trail map has been nearly impossible since Craig loves creating new ones with the skid steer on a regular basis! We are working on the pond area to be more recreational in our future as well. Thanks again for choosing us. We hope to see you again! Mended Tree Drive

1 site · RV1 acre · Spring Valley, MN
50ft gravel drive with water and electric hookups available. Close walking distance to restaurants, trout stream, bait shop, park + playground, pickleball courts, and the bowling alley! Must be self-contained. We currently have no sewer hookup, toilet or shower available for use. There is a free public dump a couple blocks down. Firepit is available for use. Sometimes we have wood, but when we do not- there is DNR approved stuff available at the bait shop just a couple blocks down. The gas grill on the patio is available for guest use as well. Like firewood, I usually have some propane in the tank but not always! There is a Kwik Trip a few blocks down where you can exchange the tank that's here, or you're welcome to bring your own. My yard can be a bit lumpy in certain places, but has plenty of space for tent(s) if you need additional sleeping space. Parking is available in the drive or on the street. Additional parking space can sometimes be made available if you have a larger rig and would prefer off street parking for your vehicle. Pets are welcome, but they must be dog friendly! A small and VERY friendly French Bulldog owns the place and will make himself known as he would love to say hi to you and/or your dog loving critter(s). Please make me aware if you have any concerns and I can try to accommodate. The house next door is abandoned and acts as a green screen in the summertime creating a decent amount of privacy! We can (and will) often be found out in the yard and/or the garden most evenings and on weekends, but can (and will) try to mind our own business if you prefer! The camper you see is mine. I have hopes of renovating it for guest use, but you can rest assured noone will be staying in it while you're here. Later in the year, our garden may provide food. If this is the case while you're here- you are always welcome to pick some as usually there is an abundance! More to come!
