We grow vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, and Christmas trees and greenery using no-till and organic methods. The farm is 78 acres and has 3 spots for self-contained RVs. All three sites are leveled, mulched and include 50 amp hook ups. The farm is next to Kinnickinnic State Park where you will find miles of hiking and biking trails. The State Park is located on the pristine St Croix and Kinnickinnic Rivers and has public beach access and fantastic trout fishing locations. The Kinni is also known for fantastic kayaking. Our farm also includes walking trails for the use of our guests and their pets. Especially near dusk, you are likely to see many deer, turkeys, rabbits and pheasants. The sunsets are gorgeous at the farm and on cloudless nights the stars in our dark sky are amazing. This is the perfect place for a peaceful get away with loads of outdoor activities available just down the road. Additionally, the farm is equidistant from the towns of Prescott and River Falls, WI- about 10 minutes to either. Prescott is near the confluence of the St. Croix and Mississippi Rivers and has several restaurants with both great food and water views. River Falls is on the Kinni River and has excellent food options as well as 3 breweries, a distillery and two wineries nearby. This is a working farm. We are happy to welcome you onto our land and would love to show you around. Informal tours showcasing our organic and regenerative growing methods are available as time permits. We have an on farm store people visit daily. The farm is 10 minutes from the town of River falls which is on the Kinnickinnic River and has some great trails and fishing. We are about 45 minutes from St.Paul, MN.

We loved the property and amenities! My husband isn’t much of a camping or outdoors kind of guy but he had a great time here! The cabin was clean and had all kitchen cookware needed when we were stuck inside due to rain. We had a fire every day we were there and cozied up by the fireplace inside when it rained. The stars out there were truly breathtaking! The location is out of the way of noise but not so out of the way from civilization with the nearby town 25 mins away. Dave and Tracy really thought about everything needed to accommodate your stay.

I love the solitude of site 1. I've seen and heard lots of cool wildlife in my two trips there. The ticks are ferocious but I found a bug spray in town with 98% deet this trip that helped a ton! The mosqutoes are not as bad as I expected though. I was a little surprised to see the cost goes up per person after just one person, but it was not a deal breaker I just need to pay more attention when I reserve a site. It is a beautiful area, Mike is very responsive but not at all invasive. I will be back!

We had the most lovely stay on Lindsey’s farm! The yurt was cozy and safe during a sudden thunderstorm. We enjoyed wandering the land and seeing all of the vegetables, orchard, and animals. I absolutely recommend staying at Rising Sun Farm!

Mike is a super wonderful host, there when you need him and absent when you don't! The site is lovely, mature pines and oaks, birds singing and the activity from the brook delightful. I have had a chance to stay at this site multiple nights over multiple weeks to save travel money for a work gig and a popup camper or tent at this sight is perfect. Shell Lake and Spooner have a lot to offer and the National Scenic Riverway is also just moments away. Get away from the Cities or your normal routine and spend some time at Wild Wood Acres.

Quiet, private spot. Path to it was well lit with a couple of motion sensor lights on trees, nice touch. Large fireplace and picnic table, clean porta-potty. Host was friendly and even had firewood ready for us. Enjoyed our stay!

Loved it! Just far enough to get away and feel relaxed and disconnected from the stress of life. Found some great state forest hiking near by. Enjoyed lunch at The Garage in Pine City and checked out the brewery too. The cabin is a comfy cozy space with everything we needed for a few days stay! We are a small family of 3 and happily brought our dog along too! ❤️ Thanks for the opportunity to stay!

Very clean and very warm! It was the perfect getaway for wanting the amenities of home but with little to no contact with other people. Although it was cold outside (under 10 degrees) we were comfy and cozy in the cabin!

My husband ended up being sick and I hesitated going along with my three children. I was so glad I went. The A frame is adorable and has everything you need for a night of comfort. I was surprised how the fireplace warmed the whole space up! The woods was lovely. I really appreciated how quick the host helped me trouble shoot the internet. The water is well water and wasn't enjoyable to drink, so I would bring water in the future. The cabin is remote, but I was hoping it would have been off of the road more and I was able to see two homes from in the cabin. Thank you for the stay! The kids are still talking about the "Mirror Cabin."
