Shivering Timbers Family Campground, the closest private camp to Tahquamenon Falls (3 miles) and 15 minutes from Two Hearted River Trailhead and Crisp Point lighthouse access. Each site includes a fire ring, picnic table, access to water spigot, and portable toilets. We offer 4 primitive tent/van/small RVs to park on spacious sites in private spots surrounded by state land. Our boys sell firewood, delivered to your site! We can be your headquarters for all attractions that will make your stay enjoyable. Located only 5 minutes from Lower Falls State Park, 10 minutes from Upper Falls, we have a variety of trails, river access and lakes to get you going on a nice hike or a relaxing afternoon of fishing.  Rustic it may be but the use of quiet generators are allowed and we are pet friendly. We have a community field with games and a fire pit to use. Self-contained trailers are welcome (no hookups yet). Steps from snowmobile trails and near Lake Superior (10 miles), Star gazing, rock hunting or bird watching are all ideal for family fun or quiet escapes. Experience breathtaking serenity on this entire 3-acre property, ready and waiting just for you! Electric hookups—including 30-amp, 50 amp, and standard 110V outlets—are now FREE with your nightly stay.
There’s a gated, level gravel pad (45x60 feet) perfect for parking your RV or motorhome. Prefer to tent camp? Feel free to set up on the grassy area nearby. A dead-end seasonal private road leads to this secluded spot—please note the road is not plowed during winter. Important: Please park only on the designated gravel pad; parking elsewhere is not allowed.
The property has no running water or restrooms, so tent campers, please bring your own portable restroom.
Enjoy 232 feet of stunning Lake Huron shoreline where you can relax, play, and soak in the views. Strawberry Island is clearly visible, and you can watch ships come and go right from the shore. Cell service is available on site, check your carrier's map.
If you bring your furry friends, be sure to clean up after them. And if you smoke, please don’t toss butts on the ground—you’ll be charged a cleaning fee for cigarette litter.

Sault Ste Marie 12 Mile Rd Campsite

This is a rustic campsite without facilities or electricity.  This property borders the South Charlotte River.  It is in a very private location.  You can drive into the camping area.  We are located 12 miles south of Sault Ste Marie 1/3 mile west  of M-129 on 12 Mile Road.  It is a dirt road.  The entrance is on the left or south side of the road.

The property is good for either tent camping or a parking place for RVs.  There is a new driveway that leads to the camping or parking areas.  You can drive on  the grass to get to the  campsite.  The campsite area is 50 yards from the road.  You can set up anywhere in the cut grass area.  There will be two white chairs and a garbage can. A small camp porta potty is available for your use.

White Rock Campground, De Tour Mi

White Rock offers big secluded parcels that give you a true sense of peace and nature. Camp ground is positioned on a 1 mile stretch of road and atv/snowmobile trail with very little traffic. This 120 acre parcel is filled with beautiful terrain and trees of every kind. Wildlife is abundant and the settings are naturally beautiful. Parcels are secluded from one another and roughly 0.25 to 0.50 acres a piece. Campsites are paved with limestone gravel and are considered rustic. Depending on the season there are one or two sanitary stations available. Quite generators are permitted. There is a hand pump well for water available near entrance of park. Campers, RV’s and Tenting is allowed. 8 minutes from Drummond Island. 1.5 Miles from Lake Huron Shores and beaches.

Farm Life

Inexpensive spot to stop on your journey through the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. You can experience farms, wildlife and quiet. Property is a mile from ORV trail that will take you across the Upper Peninsula and only ten miles from the best fishing. You can park your small camper or stake your tent in our hay field. This will be a rustic spot with no electric or water hook up. You will see tractors, deer, turkey, sandhill cranes and eagles.

This is a half an acre wooded lot in a residential neighborhood on a 25 mph paved road.  It is a back in, full hook-up camping spot that is large enough to accommodate rigs big and small.  20, 30, and 50 amp electrical hook-up available along with potable water and septic.  This lot is large enough to accommodate a large camper/motor home and tow vehicle.  Vehicles will need to be self contained as there is no bathroom of any kind on the site.  A picnic table and a fire ring are also on-site.

 Monocle Lake boat launch is 2 miles away. Monocle Lake is an inland 146 acre lake that is great for fishing and water sports.  Foot traffic public access to Monocle is a 4 minute walk away.  This spot is also a 5 min. Walk away from public access to the beaches of Lake Superior. Walk the miles of beach to your hearts content. Iroquois Point light house is along the way.  Spectical Lake overlook is merely 3.1 miles away on a county road legal for ORV's. The overlook is the gateway to the Hiawatha National Forest trails. This area has many activities for the outdoor enthusiast. Single Track hiking and mountain biking trails and northern lights if you are lucky enough to catch them on the beach of Superior.

This campsite is along the U.S. Forest Service Whitefish Bay Scenic Byway. Make this spot your home away from home while touring all Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula has to offer.

This is a campsite we set-up for our own use, because we love the area. We think others may also enjoy the same things we do.


Tent Camping with Nature

Enjoy the best of both worlds with this forested campsite that is close to the beach!
Our land is about 5 minutes from Batchawana Bay Provincial Park. This sandy beach park is located on Lake Superior and is perfect for families as the waters are warm and shallow. While in the area you can also try fishing and canoeing in the nearby river. Be sure to also check out
Chippewa Falls and the Edmund Fitzgerald lookout.

Choose from 5 different sites that are
very private. There is
plenty of natural tree canopy and you will have nature all around.
Just across the property, you will find
Lake Superior with the best beach around. Please note that quiet time is from 11 pm to 8 am. Please no loud music or generators, no cutting down trees or bush.

Pets are welcome (please keep them on a leash and pick up after them)
Campfires are permitted. Newly constructed outhouses!         Electric vehicles are not to permitted to be charged on premises and if caught doing so will be charged an additional $50 fee

Mackinaw Camp Inn

Mackinaw City Campinn is located just 2 miles from historic Mackinaw City, a destination filled with nature, history, beaches, and fun. This is a 5 acre private camp, surrounded by woods,  for self contained RV campers with a 30 or 50 amp hook up. This is a densely wooded area with some wetlands behind you.

We've dedicated up to a couple of acres on our large 150-acre piece of land that is also home to our Northern Heritage Village intentional community as well. We welcome responsible, friendly travellers from all over who want to enjoy one of the most beautiful, wild spots in all of Ontario! We are a family friendly environment and ask that our visitors remember that. We are also very pet friendly so long as pets are kept on leash or within the tents/setups of their owners.
