There is wildlife traveling through the property and at times make this their home. This is a birding paradise again for those birds migrating through and others making nests and raising their babies. We are a hobby farm, we hay in July, garden during the summer and at times have a variety of farm animals. There is recreation galore including swimming, fishing, boating, skiing, hiking, and biking to name a few very familiar activities to this area.

Enjoy 'glamping' at its finest in this rustic off-grid tiny house. A 5-acre hay-field overlooks Lake Michigan, cherry orchards and the surrounding forests. Nearby access to the beach, hiking trails, and the Village of Northport is an 8-minute drive away. Enjoy the view with your morning cup of coffee and beautiful sunsets. Spend the evening stargazing or set up your hammock behind the cottage. Be prepared to provide your own linens/ bedding and bath towels. An outdoor composting toilet is near the cottage and easily accessible while indoor hot water showers are available in limited quantities (5-10 min). A propane cook-top, full sink, and mini-fridge are available for use. The solar system has a limited power supply so no extra appliances allowed. No campfires, wood stove use, or candles. Very limited cellular service.
