Michelle's cabin was a great spot to stay overnight, she was communicative and clear with directions and always easy to get in touch with. The cabin was quaint, cosy and fit 3 people without a problem, the outhouse and shower were clean and super helpful, too - definitely would stay again!

7 nights at Turtle Marsh- secluded wooded site.
Really unique and amazing stay, can't recommend this place enough! Learned about three medicinal mushrooms that grow on the property through the walks with Peter and Willie. Some neat evidence of beaver activity was spotted as well. You can hear barn owls in the evening. If you did get any rain or wind while there it's rather pleasant. Was nice to know if you do need anything the cabin and Peter were a short walk away. I even got Peters book which I can't wait to read!

We went tent camping on Jeff and Cathy's land. Jeff and Cathy were wonderful hosts. I mentioned that it was my wife's birthday gift and they went next level by decorating our picnic area with birthday decorations and a personalized card. They also gave our boys two painted pumpkins to bring home. I didn't know I'd find hospitality at a campground, but Jeff and Cathy delivered. All of the sites offer good privacy so you don't feel like you're stacked on top of another family. The bathhouse is kept super clean. This was our first overnight tent night with our children and it went spectaculary! Thank you Jeff and Cathy. We'll be back.

Awesome spot! Cheri was an excellent host and the spot is ~100ft from a creek. Pro tip: if you want to get to the main river faster, walk to the back of the meadow and down the embankment along the water. Much easier if the water is low.

1 night at Porcupine Creek Rustic Camping
I can’t wait to come back! My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this. The set up was perfect, Jeff and Cathy have gone above and beyond with making sure their guests feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. We stayed in the Owls Nest, it was super cozy. There was a whole outdoor kitchen set up with all the kitchen supplies you need. They supplied fire wood, kindling and fire starter! They had jugs of water, a very nice clean bathroom set up. There is a lot of cute animals around too, we saw a few deer, and a porcupine with its baby!
We were so impressed with Jeff and Cathy’s hospitality and can’t wait to come stay in the Owls Nest next season :)

Weekend Trip to Turtle Marsh- secluded wooded site.
Due to impending weather, we had to change our plans and make a last minute booking. The site was perfect for us. The property is beautiful with a network of small trails crisscrossing it. The site is peaceful and private, and even during a significant downpour we were able to stay dry in the canvas bell tent.
Peter is everything you could want in a host. He went out of way to be helpful, he's friendly, genuine, and responsive to communication, while still respecting his guests space and privacy. Plus his dog is the best!
We would highly recommend staying here.

Weekend Trip to Porcupine Creek Rustic Camping
Jeff & Cathy are kind and lovely hosts. Their campground is wonderful. It has everything you could want and need at a campground. It was awesome to catch up, hike, and cook with one of my childhood friends in rural Maine without having to worry about setting up camp. I’ll take staying at this campsite over staying at a hotel/motel or a large campground. I’ll definitely be back.

What a beautiful camp site! We had such a peaceful stay. The sites are so well maintained and the bath house was such a pleasant experience!!! Sites are nice and far apart and Jeff and Cathy were great hosts. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!

This is such a great spot and I'll definitely be back! Just off of Rt 4, the campsite is tucked behind a driveway and is a nice open meadow. Private enough to feel peaceful, though not "middle of the woods" – you can still hear a bit of street traffic, but nothing too noisy. The best part of this site is the direct access to Valley Brook! I enjoyed swimming and fishing, and if you walk downstream about a quarter of a mile, you'll hit the confluence with the Sandy River :)

The camping spot was exactly what we were looking for! Great spot, private, access to the water, short distance to other trails and things to explore! Our dogs enjoyed all the room to run and play !! The host really thought about all the information we would need to make our travel easy and stay enjoyable !!

Beautiful spot for a peaceful getaway surrounded by a forest. Perfect for nature lovers; lots of wildlife and biodiversity. The facilities are excellent—everything was super clean and thoughtfully designed. The host provided everything we needed and then some (even lanterns, anchors for the tent platform, insect zapper, citronella candle, dish soap, water, firewood, hand soap, and toiletries). It’s completely off grid but we didn’t miss a thing. There are several lakes nearby which are perfect for swimming and kayaking; we also went on a lovely hike. The area isn’t very touristy, which we liked. Strongly recommend this site.

This is honestly one of the prettiest campsites we’ve ever stayed at! It’s rustic in the best way, but still has everything you need to feel comfortable. We stayed at Chickadee Corner over the weekend and had such a great time.
Jeff and Cathy greeted us when we arrived, gave us a quick tour, and answered all our questions. They’re the sweetest people and you can tell they’ve put so much love and effort into every part of the campground. It's lovely!
The bathrooms were super clean and so cute! We also loved that firewood was included—it made our nights by the fire even better. Everything felt easy, peaceful, and cozy.
We would love to stay in the treehouse next time! Thank you Jeff and Cathy. Greetings from NY!

We absolutely loved our stay over the weekend here. We stayed on chickadee corner. Jeff and Cathy greeted us apon arrival and gave us a quick tour and answered any questions we had. They are very sweet people who put a lot of effort into these camp sites. The bathrooms were very clean and adorable. The best part was that while we were out during the day we received a message asking if we needed any supplies at the camp. Fire wood is provided, which was awesome. I would love to come back and stay at the tree house next time.

I loved Jeff and Cathy's campsite! You meet them in person when you arrive and they give yku a quick tour. They are a super friendly and helpful couple. The campsite itself has a small number of sites, which is amazing because it won't be full of screaming children or annoying adults playing music all night long. The site has bathrooms, a shower room, and in general is extremely tidy and well kept. Overall I would highly recommend this site to anyone and I will be staying there again.
