The family we bought the farm from owned and farmed it since 1900. They built a cabin then and built a house around the cabin in 1920. We bought it in 2018 and have been renovating it to build a retreat center for first responders and others who serve unselfishly. To that end, we've cut hiking trails and campsites as well as filling the farm with livestock to help people slow down and de-stress. My oldest son Ben, and I built this campsite in January of 2024, from both our visions, and tried to make it a truly magical setting. Ben was also featured in two episodes of Building Off The Grid, on the Discovery Channel, so he put quite a bit of expertise and knowledge into our site. I love hosting and decorating, so the interior of the tent is constantly changing. Also features cedar outhouse with composting toilet, cedar bridges built across rocks, as well as two chair hammock area, picnic table and gas grill. Firepit has natural log seating and several more folding chairs, pillows and outdoor blankets stored in waterproof chest. Tent features a queen size bed, adult size folding cot stored under bed, adult size sleeping pad, 2 upholstered chairs set up as reading/relaxing nook, coffee maker, and Yeti battery pack for electrical and charging needs. We will provide drinking water and extra water for washing up. We supply all linens and dishware needs. First Aid Kit is provided, but we are just a short walk through the woods if you need anything. Nestled on 1 acre of our 10 acre hobby farm, which includes Peacocks, chickens, 4 cats, 5 Collies and a Weimaraner named Maggie, as well as a couple of goats, including a very friendly dwarf goat named Pickles. You may also see wildlife, such as deer and turkey, strolling down the meadow on the lower part of your site. Strands of lighting and battery candles provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. Coolers available if you need one. You can bring up to 2 extra tents for families looking for an out door experience . Drive on in to a pull through site with full hookups. It's a gravel site with a concrete patio. This site is behind our barn. It has a picnic table and fire bowl with wood provided. It's peaceful and quiet with views of trees and the neighbors cows. You may see some deer and turkeys. There is a Dollar General and a Gas station 1 mile away. Convenient to I-65. It’s 30 miles to Nashville and 30 minutes to Bowling Green. Other places close by- 112 Antique Store, Sumner Crest Winery, and The Mint at KY Downs.

Patti was an amazing host! We showed up at night and she still showed us to our spot and gave us the best spot she had for rainy weather. The dogs were also so sweet and guarded us all night and gave us company. She also offered us eggs which is so sweet! We had a great time here :)

My partner and I made a last minute decision to go camping when our schedules changed. Patti was extremely friendly and communicative immediately when we made our reservation. I really enjoyed hearing from her. The campsite is not very far from Nashville and was a perfect getaway. The campsite has three guard dogs that are SUPER sweet. They were very playful with our 1 and 1/2 year old German Shepherd (who still thinks he’s, like, a 6 month old). We also felt very happy that these dogs were guarding us during the night. The road is somewhat close to the campsite but it didn’t have heavy traffic. This site was perfect for the three of us looking at a short, impromptu night away from home! The creek and birds were lovely to wake up to and we came home the next day cheerful and relaxed. We were at Site 2, but Site 3 also seemed great for a larger group.

The campsite was very nice, with great personal touches and everything we needed during our stay. There were strings of lights hung throughout the main camp area, which was great for getting around at night. The large tent had everything one might need, from cookware and utensils, blankets, seating, as well as a bed AND a fan for cooling off. The entire setting was very pretty and relaxing, with the tent on a deck perched over large rocks with thoughtful mulched pathways throughout. It was a very nice place and our hosts were very easy to get in contact with, making sure we had a great time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great campsite with extra perks.

We found this place online and we are so glad we did! A short girls trip with daughters and their kids, this location made us feel like we were secluded, yet safe. Miss Judy had so many extra touches and a cozy atmosphere. We also got a visit from their peacocks in the morning! We would definitely stay again. Great site and great hosts!

This is a wonderful place for a family getaway. The large rocks on which the yurt is set make the location truly spectacular. I highly recommend purchasing firewood to enjoy making s’mores together. My five-year-old daughter loved visiting the dogs on the property, as well as the chickens, peacocks, roosters, and goats. In the evening, the lights surrounding the yurt create a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere.

On the Rocks is such a rare and stunning place to camp! We really enjoyed the cozy fall setup inside the tent — it felt so welcoming and thoughtful. The fresh pumpkin bread was absolutely delicious, and the eggs are a must-try… so tasty!! We had a great time exploring through the rocks and woods, and even though the site is right beside a road, there wasn’t much traffic at all during the weekend. It truly felt peaceful and semi-private. This was such a refreshing and relaxing place to stay and spend quality time together. We’re so glad we found this gem and can’t wait to come back!

What a wonderful spot! The campsite was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very well cared for. Everything felt neat and manicured, which made it a relaxing place to spend time. The full hook-ups were a huge plus — easy to access and worked exactly as they should. The site itself was large and open, giving us plenty of room to spread out without feeling crowded in any way. This was a fantastic experience — clean, quiet, and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer campsite! They even had a trash can and a picnic table for us. Communication was great. It was quiet and peaceful. I would absolutely stay here again!

Such a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Absolutely beautiful. Not too far from town if you forgot anything. But what may have been the best part was they had three dogs that just watched over us and our campsite. I felt extremely safe which is not the norm for me. Plus the host, Patty, one of the nicest women I have met on my travels. Definitely will come back.
