This site is great for boon-docking on solar power, while enjoying great views of the Wallowa Mountains and surrounding farm/ranch land in relative privacy. Graveled Tucker Down Road runs on the west side of the sites, separated by a small creek, deciduous trees, and wild shrubs & flowers. The road gets a fair amount of ranch and farm traffic, but the trees do knock down most of the dust. While the site is flat, be ready for ann uneven surface with lots of tall grass, clover, & thistles. We were happy to be able to light our Howl propane fire pit for an evening under the stars. The site location is convenient with a short 5 minute drive to Joseph and just a 15 minute drive to Wallowa Lake & the Tramway. I can understand comments about the $75 per night being steep since there are no hookups but for us it was worth it.

We enjoyed our stay here with a few caveats. It was easy to find, had gorgeous views and Kelly was very informative and responsive. Now, the caveats. The space felt a bit neglected.. Lots of weeds that needed cleared out. And, although he mentions it in the description, we didn’t appreciate the camera on the site. All that being said, we would likely stay again if we are back in the area.

What a spot! We loved camping on Kathleen and Grady’s land right next to the river. It was so peaceful, beautiful views, and just what we were looking for after a few days of backpacking in the Eagle Cap. We will definitely be back!

2 nights at Glamp at the Evans Farm
What a wonderful place Grady Sr. and Kathleen have created on their beautiful farm. The Glamping tent was perfect for exploring the Joseph area.
The nights were quiet and the bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in. The outdoor shower was the perfect way to relax after a day on the trails. Very private and sitting on the front deck watching the sunsets over the mountains will be memorable.
We will surely be back when in Joseph. Thanx Grady Sr and Kathleen. So great meeting you both. Shelly and Shelley

Large private spot just a few feet from the river. Good sky views, deer in the adjacent fields, and great for dogs off leash. Centrally located for adventures in Enterprise and Joseph. The facilities are as advertised and shown in the attached photos.

The view was amazing. Even though the residence was nearby, it was down the hill from where we were and so our spot felt private. Was such a great location for exploring Enterprise, Joseph, and Wallowa Lake. We had a wonderful time!

Great space to tent camp. Plenty of room for the dogs to play and the sounds of the river always playing in the background. Felt private. The sky is big and offered beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Convenient location close to both Joseph and enterprise. The host, Grady, was easy to communicate with if we had any questions or needs.

We absolutely LOVED our time at Kathleen and Grady's Hipcamp! Although we'd initially booked it as a backup since Wallowa Lake State Park was full, it ended up being a real highlight of our trip... totally worth it for such a unique experience. The site was enormous and peaceful, and Grady was so thoughtful to give us great local recommendations, replace our drinking water, and check in about our stay. The creek was such a bonus, too... both for us and our dog. We all enjoyed soaking our feet after a long hike up the nearby Hurricane Creek Trail (Grady, you were right... totally worth it!). Next time we camp in the area, we won't even need to check the campground openings... we'll go straight to this place. Thank you so much, Kathleen and Grady. Our host was incredibly responsive and accommodating—quick to answer any questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The site was peaceful and remote, giving us that off-the-grid feeling, yet still conveniently close to nearby activities. Super quiet at night, perfect for stargazing and relaxing. Would definitely stay again!

Outstanding views in all directions, and a friendly, informative host in Meredith. If you’re dry/tent camping (we were in a rooftop tent on our truck), be advised there is no shade. Keep in mind that the site is a working ranch, so their work is ongoing throughout the day. We would stay again.

Great place to tent camp and to get away from the crowds. Only 5 minutes to Joseph and only 10 minutes to Wallowa Lake. The tent site is very well kept, quiet, and right next to the Wallowa River. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Grady and Kathleen.

This campsite was peaceful and beautiful, with sweeping meadow and mountain views. We loved getting to know the local cow herd and soaking in the sounds of nature. We were in town for an event at Tamarack Resort—the 25-minute drive was stunning every time. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay in the glamping tent at Evan’s Farm! Kathy and Grady were so welcoming and helped us find our way even in the dark!
We woke up to the most stunning view of the farm with the mountains behind and ponies there to greet us! We got an insider tip from Grady on an amazing hike, went paddle boarding at Wallowa Lake and ended the night with a fire and s’mores at the farm!
Kathy and Grady have thought of and provided everything to make it the easiest glamping trip and the bed lived up to the hype! We were so cozy and comfortable.

Beautiful view on a sweet ranch. Horses, cows, pigs, goats and dogs and cats. Meredith had just gotten back in town from vacay when we arrived, but greeted us and showed us around.
