Situated on 20 acres with abundant trees and a year round creek dappled with wildflowers. Boasting shaded camp sites, abundant bird songs and bird watching opportunities including blue heron, hawks, great horned owl, quail, ducks, turkeys, pheasants, and creek full of frogs for the kids to catch and friendly horses to watch. Each evening, listen to the coyotes howl, the owls hoot, crickets chirp, frogs croak (in spring/early summer) and the gentle ambling of the occasional short train that crosses the track on the nearby spur. Willow Creek Retreat is a great place for a camp reunion, families wanting to get their kids into nature, fall bird hunting or a romantic country get away. This is a beautiful slice of heaven minuts off the Interstate and close to all other amenities. Gently sloping topography with grasslands and evergreens abound. The campsite is situated on its own private corner of the property encompassing about an acre. The other parts of the property house a working Boarding stall and indoor arena for horses and the main residence is beyond that. There is water and power to the site as well as an established fire pit when burning is permitted.

Owned the last 100 years by only two families. The Weber family was the last to own and operate the farm for over 60 years. House was built in 1917 and the barn was added in 1925. Legend has it Bing Crosby sang in the barn himself after a long summer bucking bales in Cheney. We are close to Turnbull Wildlife Park and a few local fishing lakes: badger lake, williams lake, and amber lake. The town of Cheney is a great place to stock up and bicycle the fish lake trail.

B-T-B (Beyond the Badge) is a horse boarding and horse hotel facility owned and operated by first responders. We are conveniently located just 5 minutes west of the Idaho/Washington state border! Our facility is centrally located near numerous hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, Walmart, Cabela's, and freeway access points. Within a 30-minute drive, there are 8 lakes, each offering spectacular views and a variety of water sports. Additionally, there are numerous golf courses in the area. If you visit during the winter months, you'll find 5 ski areas nearby! We currently have 5 horses of our own and 5 long-term boarders, along with three goats! Did you know that horses have a natural ability to reduce stress, anxiety, and promote positive feelings? We offer ample camper or RV parking, suitable even for big rigs, with nearby RV dumps available. Our facility is equipped with 24-hour surveillance for safety and security. Dogs are welcome on the property but must remain on a leash. No drugs of any kind. This rule will be strictly enforced. At B-T-B, we wholeheartedly support our military and first responders!

Welcome to “Peaceful Pinecone Grove” campground on a tranquil, secluded 3-acre homestead with myriad outdoor recreation activities nearby including: + Silverwood Theme Park and Farragut State Park, both a 5 minute drive + The quaint community of Bayview and beautiful Lake Pend Oreille, 10 minutes away + Coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint, both 30 minutes away + Super One Foods, ACE Hardware, an urgent care center and a gas station, along with Highway 95, just about a mile away This spacious, level, shaded back-in camp site provides all necessary hookups for your camper or trailer: electric, water and sewer. Wifi is provided as well. The space is most perfect for “van life” folks, designed by a host with her own glamping van that she keeps on the property. Having your own self-contained bathroom on board is preferred, but you are welcome to use our outhouse with a compost toilet and camping sink/water that will be shared with guests at the one glamping tent across the walking path. You’re welcome to pitch a tent or use the hammocks under the trees. There is a walking path through the woods, an outdoor clawfoot bathtub for cold plunges, and a trampoline. We’ll provide a couple of lounge chairs and a side table as well. On the homestead we grow a large selection of vegetables, fruit and flowers. We also have a rooster and chickens that provide fresh eggs, and 2 VERY adorable tabby kitties that you’ll see roam the premises. Please do not enter the chicken coop, collect any firewood or pick from the garden as I am growing produce for the local farmers market. You are welcome to visit the garden, but please keep the gates shut for deer protection. Homemade breakfast can be available upon request (coffee/tea, homemade German style bread or pretzels, jam, farm fresh eggs, freshly squeezed juices). We can also pack a lunch box for you with sandwiches and fruit. Please refer to the pictures for an idea of options. Breakfast and boxed lunches are $20 per person. We also offer kayak and SUP rentals for $15 per day. We look forward to hosting you and making your stay memorable!
