I had a peaceful and quiet time at this lovely property. I booked for the weekend and ended up being the only one there. Will was a great host and checked in on me daily. My dog and I had a wonderful time. We chilled in the morning, had a swim in the lovely pond, a nice walk and a nap then sat by the fire in the evening. Couldn't be better. Highly recommend and looking forward to going to one of the music festivals the owners hold there!!! Thank you so much.

We loved staying at this HipCamp. It was one of the best locations we have stayed. Literally feet away from the Pend Oreille River, the views were amazing. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had to change our plans and they worked with HipCamp to get two nights refunded even though it was outside their cancellation policy. We would definitely stay here again.

This was further out than we expected, but it was great. The pond looked a little murky but was actually very cool and with such hot temps we were thankful for it. Large space (field) to choose where you want to camp. Or dogs loved to run and we appreciated not needing to keep them leashed. But that because we were the only ones there. It would be different if there were more campers around.

Stewart and Shawna's waterfront camp was AMAZING! We had a wonderful time. The water was perfect for kids of all ages. We had a large group and they were so kind and accommodating and it made for a great family camp out. It was great to be able to bring our dogs with us as well and have them off leash to run around and swim with us. They had some super fun water toys by the dock that everyone loved to play on. We will definitely return if we are in the area again.

What a way to escape reality for a bit! The land was beautiful and quiet. Directions were clear and concise! The Outhouses were clean and maintained well and bonus wood was provided, just be prepared to cut it (: we personally didn’t swim in the pond, but it was really well maintained. It would be an amazing spot for Early- Mid fall! We didn’t use them, but grills and were there if you bring propane. Overall a beautiful experience, would be fun to do a big family group trip or retreat here!

Host was very communicative regarding his site. Upon arrival I walked the route per his suggestion-unfortunately there were some branches that were too low for my rig. I messaged him and he refunded without issue. He appreciated the feedback and will look at removing the low branches. A beautiful site on the water-Hope to return in the future!

We chose William’s family’s land as our weekend getaway with littles because it offered so many things-wide open space to run and play, pond to swim and cool off, sandy beach, shaded area with lots of great hammock trees. We were so spoiled because we had the WHOLE place to ourselves all weekend so the privacy was unmatched! We met some of the hosts as we were arriving and they were so kind and hospitable-encouraging us to make ourselves at home and giving us a lay of the land! Then we met William on the last day as we were packing up and he was awesome as well-giving us some history on the land and his family as well as inviting us back out for live music!
This place really is a gem, we had no problems hauling our 28’ travel trailer and navigating the roads, the instructions were clear and easy to follow! Only a 10-15 minute drive into priest river. We would definitely bring our little family back here! Thanks for having us!

Great spot. Very quiet and right next to the river. I enjoyed the quiet and the stars while getting in some great fishing. Was pretty easy to find but got confused at the end. Took me a second to realize you have to drive through the field. Otherwise a great spot. I’ll be back

I love this land!! It was the perfect site for my 5-day summer retreat! William and his parents are so wonderful and checked in occasionally to make sure we had what we needed to make this event successful! Not just during the retreat, but before and after. The swimming pond was essential on hot days, and the water was cool, clean and refreshing! The land fit my event like a glove and all my participants were in heaven. Camping under the trees provided good shade and the open areas provided room for games. I can't wait to do this again next year!

First off, GORGEOUS property. Camp sites are right on the edge for the best views of the river
The hosts were beyond helpful and provided insight on multiple places we could go explore.
Would 10/10 recommend for anyone wanting to unplug (although you do get cell service).
Will definitely be coming back

We loved camping the past five nights on the water! Stewart and Shawna were extremely accommodating and communicative. We had reached out very early in the spring and they allowed us to drive out to check out the space before hand to assure we would fit comfortably. I had booked sites 2&3; we brought a 33 foot travel trailer, and my mother brought a 40foot 5th wheel. The two sites together were mowed down and fit us very comfortably. Our teenagers even pitched a couple tents on site. We also brought a 23ft tritoon boat that was kept at the dock. The boat launch was only a five minute drive away and we kept our car and boat trailer at camp as well with no extra charge. This spot was so perfect spot for our family! The kids loved the beach, they used the lily pad and kayaks daily. My toddler really loved the shallow water near the beach. The property/land was quiet, relaxing and very peaceful at these sites. We boated to Sandpoint on the 4th for the firework show - that was about a 30-45min adventure each way.
The only advice for future campers is to bring lots of bug spray and citronella candles. The mosquitoes are thick (expected since you are literally right on the water).
