Beefield is just down the road (South) from the Ogeechee River for fishing and kayaking.. Brooklet is 6 miles for grocery and restaurants, fuel and pharmacies.

Tabby's Trees is 74 acres made up mostly of pine forest situated in the coastal plain. An ephemeral wetland runs along the south of the property with a seasonal wetland along the southwest. The overstory of the forest is dominated by loblolly and slash pine with a few longleaf pine sprinkled in as well as turkey oak, live oak, laurel oak, and more. The property has two tent sites and one car camping site that can also accommodate a small camper. There are designated campsites with fire rings, but if you are the only camper during your stay you are welcome to set up camp wherever you would like.
