We loved the cottage, warm and cozy with a little kitchen. We used the fireplace every night. Nice quiet and cool nights. We will definitely be back. A very memorable Thanksgiving with my love.

My family and I stayed at campsite number one. The scenery is beautiful and the whole park is very clean and well laid out. We loved that there was a good amount of space and privacy between the sites. The creek is very soothing and beautiful. It was very convenient having seasoned firewood and fresh farm eggs available to purchase on site. The eggs were delicious and the chickens greet you every time you walk to the bathhouse. Speaking of the bath house it was very clean and the showers were nice and hot with plenty of water pressure. There is an ingles 11 minutes away to stock up on food. There is also a beautiful easy trail 6 minutes away called Tessentee bottomlands preserve. Adam was a very welcoming and attentive host. I would definitely suggest this campground for anyone looking to have a peaceful, private camping experience.

Site 1 is beautiful. It sits right on the edge of the creek. The sounds of the water flowing over the rocks nearby were so peaceful. The property is quiet and well-maintained. The bathhouse was exceptionally clean, and the showers have fantastic water pressure. Owners are very nice and came out to say hello to us. Ten out of ten, and am already planning a return trip for the springtime.

What a beautiful campground! All four campsites are by the creek providing mother nature’s perfect lullaby for a peaceful night of sleep. The availability of seasoned firewood on site is so convenient. Bathrooms with three toilets and three showers are great. I can’t wait to return!

4 nights at Creekside Cabin at Lake Hartwell
I have to say, this was hands-down the best organized, cleanest, easiest, most amenity-laden cabin I’ve ever rented. So many details, from the embroidered robes to the bound book of instructions and recommendations. From the kitchen appointments to the coffee. There are really too many amazing little things to list here, but you could really tell the owners absolutely care about the experience their property provides. And we went panning for gold in the creek below the back deck and even found a little! It was incredibly comfortable and lots of fun. Just make sure you’re ok with stairs and aren’t too large to fit the spiral to the loft. I honestly cannot think of a single improvement to make. Didn’t even matter that it rained so much, because there was plenty left to do inside.

Perfect days with the pack at the idyllic setting of Coweeta Creek Campground. The personal touches made us feel welcomed; planted flowers exploding with color, a clutch of chickens, and rustic outbuildings added to the personality of this need to return to spot. Days spent looking at deer and sitting next to a babbling brook reading and doing yoga, interspersed with walking dogs on Turkey trail and around the property, is fondly etched into my memories. Well cared for campground in a beautiful setting, Coweeta Creek is top drawer.

I enjoyed camping on this property .The price and location are a big plus . The water pump works great . The fire wood burns well . The dogs and neighborhood were charming . The sloped lot makes setting up a tent a challenge so do it carefully . The shower stall was a great place to use my buckets of water to wash myself . It might work sometimes ?

I love that the kids can run around and play safely. The creek can be played in safely for the kids. It is a great place to camp and relax and spend time together. Thank you for keeping it so well maintained -and providing a soccer ball when you saw my son using a dodgeballs at the goals. Already looking forward to our next camping trip there!

This was my second time at the campground. It was better than before…. Fresh raised eggs and honey were amazing. Melissa was probably the best host I have ever had in all my travels. She is as kind as a cool summer breeze . If you need anything she’s got it for you, so if you’re ever around the Franklin area, stay a couple nights and enjoy the fresh breakfast! A 10 in my book.

Melissa was super helpful. We loved this place right next to the river, always soo pewceful.. Great wifi, showers, etc. really all you can ask for. A gem! Closer than most places to Atlanta made this super easy we will be back for sure.

Absolutely fantastic place! First and foremost: the tranquility and nature. The butterflies put a magic show daily at one particular place in the creek - we never saw that many butterflies anywhere! This alone worth the trip: just sit by your RV or put a chair right in the creek and enjoy the butterflies!
Other than that: very quiet and secluded: only 3 sites for RV and 1 more for a tent. There are at least 30 yards separating between sites. Manicured grass fields, flowers, chicken, trees and shade, a hiking trail, perfect full hookup, minutes driving to Dillard, GA or Franklin, NC. We will most certainly be back!
