Our large campsites will never leave you with concerns about invading the space neighboring campers. Many of our guest are content with watching the river roll by without hearing the noise of automobiles or emergency vehicles. Other guess spend there days fishing, boating or listening to birds chirping.

The water is rich with tannins from the Okefenokee Swamp, giving it a tea-colored appearance that looks black in deeper areas. Is the river safe for swimming? Yes, the tannins in the water help kill bacteria and mosquito larvae, making it great for swimming! Is the river rocky or rough on the feet? No, the property is on an ancient 8,000+ year-old dune with soft white beach sand, perfect for swimming. Does the river smell? No, it has little to no odor. Are there bugs? While we recommend bug/tick spray, mosquitoes don’t overrun the property. Are there wild animals? Yes, wild animals can appear at any time. Is hunting/shooting allowed? No, this is a private retreat. BB guns are okay with adult supervision. Family-friendly? Yes! But please note that there is no lifeguard on duty, so watch children closely, as river currents can be strong at times. *Swim at your own risk* Are there stores/restaurants nearby? Yes, a small gas station is only 2 minutes away, along with Dollar General (5 minutes), Walmart (10 minutes), and plenty of local restaurants in Macclenny. Trails? YES. Plenty of trails on the property to explore.

Our farm is a small local market style farm, hosting many TN Fainting Goats (enjoy all the kids in the spring), Sheep and spring lambs, around 40 or so chickens and piggies depending on the season. We also grow figs, herbs garlic and veggies. Please note this is an RV site only no tent camping and no latrine tents allowed. We also have a one dog policy. Thank you for looking at our property.
