Atlanta & North Georgia
The north Georgia mountains provide some of the state’s best camping and hiking terrain, including part of the Appalachian Trail. South Georgia

The region’s most impressive hiking trails are found in Providence Canyon State Park, along with backcountry tent sites, while Stephen C.
