With 2,000 feet of riverside, you can fish, swim, picnic, and just enjoy the beauty that surrounds you and understand why Florida natives refer to this part of Florida as God's country. A catch and release pond is located within the park where you can cast a line and pull in a bass, brim, or catfish, or just enjoy watching the turtles, alligators, and occasional otters. A crystal-clear pool is a hidden gem to enjoy a cool refreshing break from the Florida sun. The Clubhouse is available for gatherings in which to fellowship with other guests and share food and friendship. During the Winter months, we enjoy potluck dinners, Holiday celebrations, crafting, and other social events. The park is centrally located among many natural springs that are known for fishing, hiking, biking, and boating. We are only 3 miles from the Nature Coast State Trail (Rails to Trails). Our neighbors are the wild deer, turkeys, and even peacocks! We may have horses, goats, chicken, or a donkey or two on-site. Enjoy the view but do not approach. Or farm is great for foraging and just disconnecting from the hustle and bustle! Ask your host about property/farm tours, river tours, and horseback riding. After contacting host to announce your arrival enter dirt drive and follow it though the oaks to the camping area signs. A spot will be assigned that you should love, enjoy the peace and quiet. Glamping in The Olive Grove. Aframe Cabin Tent nestled in a 4 acre olive orchard. We are a working farm and harvest and mill our olives into high quality, extra virgin olive oil. Free range chickens and ducks and rescue dogs roam the grounds. Cabin tent side opens, queen bed, Wi-fi, heat and AC, TV, electric outlets and fire pit. Kitchenette and bathrooms are separate from the cabin tent. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster over/ air fryer, hot plate, pots and pans. Bathrooms have showers with hot water and flushing toilets. Located on the bike path, close to Weeki Wachee River Mermaids and the beautiful Chassahwitzka River. Relax, rest and take it all in.
