Thank you for checking our camping spot at Deer Trax Run on Glade Park. We believe this is a premier spot for you and your family or friends to enjoy! Located just 18 minutes from Grand Junction off Little Park Road. The camping spot has been graveled to keep you off the dirt and mud when parked. The views are wonderful as the sun sets to the west over mountains. We also have a fire place for the evening fires as you are resting. We are located within minutes from biking, hiking, and four wheeling. Several trails are within minutes such as The Ribbon Trail Head, Bangs Canyon, Tabeguache Trail, and Gunny Loop just to name a few. This spot has electricity for your camper and is located on about an acre of land below the residence giving you peace as you stay.

The site is in walking distance of all festivals, events, wineries, distillery, parks, fruit stands, the Colorado River, and downtown Palisade, so parking at events should prove no issue for occupants. Leave your vehicle and take a short walk to take in the scenery and air. Before you realize, you're at your preferred destination and now, more Palisade than you ever were. The Erman property has farm animals that can be visited and feel free to introduce yourself to them. Gail Erman is the Erman matriarch and resides on the farm. Chad Erman is her adopted son, who resides on the property as well, and will be your camp host, as well as his 7 year old son. Come stay, relax, and if you find the time or want to, familiarize yourself with this family and the stories they may have waiting, as they have many.

Easy to find and easy to camp, the Double M Ranch is the perfect location for adventures across the Grand Junction area and up to the Mesa. We really enjoyed the solitude (even with active farming operations and the airport nearby). It is exactly what we look for in a HipCamp, with the added bonus of water and power! The long view is what attracted us to the site, and it will be what brings us back next time we come to Grand Junction.

2 nights at Double M Ranch

Lovely spot overlooking the hills & farmland surrounding Grand Junction. Very close to town and perfect for our needs - we were renting an Airstream Bambi to test it out for a possible future purchase. Needed to be in an easy location & flat spot for Bambi host to deliver, and for us to get used to the van. View from site was expansive and we enjoyed watching the planes come and go from the airport. The Highline canal at the end of the road is great for a walk or bike, we enjoyed our 90 minute 'workout'. Kelly & Chris have their site set up very nicely with picnic table, water and electricity, & with the Bambi's awning, we had enough shade, even in the middle of the day. They've also planted trees which will be good for shade & privacy in the future. Highly recommended if you are passing through and looking for somewhere quiet & easy.

This was a lovely little spot conveniently located just up the street from downtown Palisade. Our hosts were so lovely and kind, the goats are adorable, having the wood ready at the campground was super convenient (and a great deal, they left alot of wood!), and we were even given delicious peaches on our way out! The site is a little loud right on the road but that's what you get when you're in the middle of town, and its nice to have a cute and affordable place to stay in Palisade!

The owners are very nice, have great communication and send clear directions. So easy to find, just a couple minutes from I-70. Fantastic property with great views. The camping spot is level, clean, quiet and private. We will book again when traveling in this area.

Beautiful views and Chad is very accommodating. He's working on getting some shade for the campsites but in the summer it can get pretty hot if you don't have your own shade canopy. It's about a mile walk to the beginning of town where there is a great pizza place and some fruit stands. About another mile into the heart of town for a lot of shops and stores. Very convenient location if you're doing things in Palisade or the outlying areas.

This spot was perfect for a place to crash after exploring the wineries in Palisade! Chad was easy to communicate with. The site is on the side of the road, but we didn’t have issues with it being noisy at night. Would definitely camp here again.

This is the 2nd time at this Hipcamp spot. It is very quiet and no traffic. It is full sun but because of the orientation of the parking spot, I was able to get part shade in the morning and evening. They have recently planted a couple of trees for future shade. It is on the edge of BLM public land and great for dog walking.

The property was serene, very private and beautiful views. Pics portray it well. Their house is at end of street and next to High line canal, a good place to bring your pups. Lovely rural neighborhood so close to downtown. They even allowed us to stay a little later so we could get in a ride at the lunch loops prior to checking out.
