My family and I stayed for 2 nights. It truly is magical. Marni and Frank are wonderful hosts. The boys loved visiting all of the goats and horses and seeing the llamas and alpacas. We can’t wait to come back in the summer time!!!

This Magical Treehouse and land were everything my family needed and more!! We could not have asked for a more pleasant and peaceful retreat! Marni gave us a rundown of the facilities, and we couldn't have imagined a better stay. From the whimsical hand-crafted beauty of the actual treehouse around "Pal", to the amenities (including games/fun, cooking utilities/supplies, Wi-Fi/TV accommodations and plenty of warmth and cozy blankets and pillows, even full working bathroom facilities), down to the quiet starlit nights including a fire pit on the patio to keep warm while star-gazing! My son especially loved visiting and interacting with the extremely affectionate and friendly free roaming animals we got to interact with and became especially fond of, even giving our own little names to each, as they greeted us kindly several times each day. Only complaint was that we couldn't afford a longer stay!.. as each of us were sad to leave and say goodbye to the relaxing and intimate natured feel of the place, and our very welcoming and accommodating hosts. We felt secure even in the peaceful darkness around us knowing the host's dogs were looking out for us into the night. We will definitely be returning next season for a longer stay if welcomed, as Marni/Frank were on call for any questions or needs, we had throughout the stay, and were exceptionally kind to us as well. Thank you for such a pleasant experience to get us "away from it all" and the delight of bringing nature closer! XOX

What a fun night! I took my 4 year old for an over nighter and it was perfect. I didn’t have to pack much since so much was provided and ready. We had a nice dinner, played in the woods, enjoyed a fire then had a great nights sleep in the treehouse. Thank you Deborah!

I had an amazing time staying at this campsite! After the sun went down, we got to use a telescope and learn all about the stars and constellations. It was such a cool experience—peaceful, fun, and really eye-opening. Camping here isn’t just about enjoying nature, it’s also about connecting with the night sky in a way you don’t usually get to. I left feeling relaxed, inspired, and already looking forward to coming back again.

What a wonderful stay! The scenery is breathtaking, and it's close to a few state parks. At night the sky is OUTSTANDING. John is an absolute treasure and a wealth of knowledge. We had an incredible time at John’s camp. He was not only incredible hospitable and friendly, but his knowledge on astronomy was impressive. We came specifically to see the Perseid Meteor shower and even with a bright moon, we got to see them! The kids were so excited and our time there was absolutely magic. Awesome landscape; dog was ecstatic to be off leash - we were mostly solo. Clouds rolled in but still had lovely visit with host and his “astronomical” knowledge (pun intended). So cool to see cows and be lulled to sleep by their lowing.
