Whether you're pitching a tent under the stars or parking your RV for a cozy retreat, our campground offers the perfect escape for nature enthusiasts and adventurers alike. Named after "Little Bear" who used to show up occasionally across the river, our site invites you to immerse yourself in breathtaking views. As you wander, keep an eye out for the diverse wildlife that calls this area home, from graceful deer and majestic elk to the playful mallard and merganser ducks! Shady Grove at OwlTree Farm

2 sites · RVs, Tents10 acres · Fort Collins, CO
Learn more about this land: Enjoy shady, sheltered sites under mature trees on a working Permaculture/regenerative agriculture farm. The sites are fairly flat and level, and offer nice privacy, set well away from the road and our house and barn area. Each site has a patio table and four chairs, as well as gas and charcoal grill for our guests to use. Unfortunately we can not allow open bonfires at this time. Plenty of space for cars, tents, and RVs. We are located approximately 3 minutes from Wellington and 12 minutes from downtown Fort Collins. Can you say BREWERIES!?!? Tour the farm and gardens, check out nearby Pawnee National Grasslands, or head into the mountains for epic adventures! Savor meals made with eggs and produce raised right here on the farm. Easy access from I-25 north of Fort Collins, a gorgeous agricultural setting with mountain views just a few steps away from the campsites. Farm-fresh produce, eggs, and frozen chickens are available for purchase at our self-serve road stand 24/7 during the growing season. 420 Friendly!

Welcome to our charming 2-acre farm nestled in East Boulder, just minutes from town and the 2nd most affordable stay in Boulder (the 1st is the homeless shelter). Our location offers proximity to decent walking trails, a bike park, and shopping, making it a perfect place to stop and restock on your way to or from the mountains. We’ve got chickens! Fresh eggs available. First come first serve on the spots. Feel free to park anywhere you’d like - it is flattest along the fence by the pond - leveling boards are available to borrow. Please note there is no access to the pond itself. It’s our neighbor’s property. Perhaps the most unique offering is the opportunity for Tintype Portraits! The host is a tintype photographer specializing in 1800’s antique portraits made with silver poured on metal plates. Check out "The Tintype Company" online for more information. TheTintypeCompany.com Here's what you can expect: The good: Easy in and out location Most affordable rates in all of Boulder. Fresh eggs!!! Beautiful view of the mountains. Summertime creek on the property. Tintypes! The not-so-good: Daytime road noise (pretend ocean waves). Limited shade. Not perfectly flat. Maximum booking of 5 nights. Please be aware that our chickens roam freely during the day. Non-aggressive dogs are welcome but must be leashed if they pose a nuisance or danger to the chickens. The chickens will not run from your dogs and are therefor easy to kill. Please don’t let that happen!!!
