Nestled in Calistoga on the western flank of Mt. Saint Helena, Wild Canyon Ranch's 156 acres encompasses some of the most diverse land in the state. This picturesque pasture borders Wilkinson Creek and is conveniently located just 13 minutes from the entrance gate of Harbin Hot Springs and 26 minutes from downtown Calistoga. Surrounded by a 140-acre privately owned nature preserve on two sides, you'll relish in abundant wildlife sightings and the serenity of nature, away from the crowds. You'll have access to filtered drinking water from a hose and spigot, along with breathtaking mountain views and almost complete privacy, as vehicle traffic is minimal, limited to ours and our neighbors', which is set back from the pasture but partially visible. This space can accommodate a maximum of 15 vehicles, with an option for overflow parking for larger parties. This is the perfect spot to host a private group camp where you can enjoy nature while being close to town. This is NOT the place to throw your alcohol fueled party or bring any sort of guns. We are about 7 minutes South of Middletown proper. We do have neighbors so noise is acceptable until 9pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends. We provide compost, recycling, and trash options, and it's ESSENTIAL to use the correct receptacle. Please note that our portion of the property is home to horses, dogs, and chickens, which you will briefly pass through before entering your fully fenced pasture. We loved Marek's tiny house, where we spent a beautiful December weekend. He and his dog Ceviche were wonderful hosts. Our own dog loved roaming around the large ranch, together with Ceviche, and we also enjoyed walking around the vineyards. Two incredible wineries, Wild Diamond and 6-sigma are very close by. We enjoyed tasting wine at both, and the views from the Wild Diamond tasting rooms is amazing.

We took a pre-school class camping at Tyler’s place! We really had a great time. The kitchen and bathroom worked great even though we had close to 30 people at max. The donkeys and cows were a huge hit. The property provided plenty of space to roam and explore so the kids had a great time. The hike to the creek was a bit more intense than we realized but the creek itself was great! Just a very big climb back to home. Overall both the kids and the adults had a spectacular time and we plan to come again

We had an amazing time at this fantastic campground! The location is beautiful, super private and peaceful, with lovely sunsets and sunrises. The stars at night were spectacular with no light pollution. Plenty of space for our group of four families to spread out, and the kids had a great time and loved the donkeys and Highland cows. It was very helpful having a fridge, toilet/shower, gas fire, and camp stove on site. Tyler, the owner, was very helpful and welcoming. He met us when we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing, family-friendly place to camp!

We had the most magical camping weekend at Bliss mountain! The tipi is amazing, spacious, comfortable, and fun! Great amenities at the camp site. Power, fresh running water from the amazing well on site, toilet, shower, full cooking stove + oven, fridge, everything you need. Beautiful sunsets and views across the valley. The pools that Hal has built are incredible. Very beautiful, the water feels amazing, the aquifer feeding the pools is a great thing to see! Hal and Bell were wonderful hosts, so welcoming, inviting, and helpful! We’ll be back!!!

Serene Scenery ✅ Tranquility ✅ Clean Space ✅ Well Equipped Cabin ✅ Friendly & Gracious Host✅ Adorable Dog✅ Unforgettable Experience ✅ Everything I wanted for a much needed peaceful getaway was met. The vineyard is as it was described and more. Amazing backdrop to an adorable and quaint little home. The window on the top overlooking the vineyard made sunrises and sunsets really special. A beautiful vineyard and little gazebo you can tell lots of life was put into this place. Ceviche the dog was so sweet and gentle. Marek was especially friendly and attentive. Great conversations with him. Checked in on me once a day to make sure all was well. PRO: no mosquitoes! I was so happy to bring my own hammock and placed it under the big tree and loved picking some grapes hanging all over the big tree! What an amazing first Hipcamp experience. So many great locations I was looking into but something about that tiny home and pictures of the vineyard really called out to me and I am SOOOO happy I chose this place. It will be hard to choose other places for my next trip. I know I will be back.

1 night at Bliss Mountain

We had such a great experience. Hallelujah was extremely welcoming and kind. We got to see the artist area with beautiful paintings. He also told us where we can hike and look for crystal lake diamonds. The views on the hike were beautiful. The teepee was super clean, had comfortable beds and nice bedding, a speaker, fan, and a really cool art instillation with lighting. There was also a beautiful pool at the main house that was perfect for my husband and I and the kids. We will definitely stay here again!

My partner and I stayed in Marek's tiny home and couldn't have had a better experience. We soaked in the hot tub, strolled around the ranch, and grilled in the evening. Also, the tiny home has a great view from the loft, we woke up to stunning sunrises both mornings we were at the ranch! The landscapes were stunning, and super fun to paint. Marek was great company, and we enjoyed chatting with him and learning more about his ranch and adventures. To top it off, his dog Ceviche is the sweetest :)

We had such a wonderful stay at Tyler’s campground while celebrating a birthday with family! Tyler was an above-and-beyond host—so responsive, helpful, and thoughtful. The natural spring water throughout the property was so fresh and delicious, and we all loved meeting Banjo and Jenny, the donkeys, who greeted us with excited heehaws when we arrived. When we realized we forgot a coffee grinder, Tyler came to the rescue, which made our mornings that much better. The waterfall was incredible, especially in the hot and dry weather—it was refreshing and absolutely worth the trek down, ripe blackberry bushes lined the trail halfway down providing a delightful pick-me-up. We’d love to come back. Thank you, Tyler, for making our stay so special!

One of the best places for family or friends to gather. The campsite is private and peaceful, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Tylar is a lovely guy—don’t hesitate to talk with him because he responds quickly and clearly to any questions.
