Welcome to Ouachita River Haven!

Nestled between Ouachita National Forest property and the Ouachita River, our Haven is a peaceful little slice of nature for you to take a break, catch your breath, and enjoy the outdoors! Property has 1000 ft of river access, with canoe & kayak docks, swimming hole, volleyball and tetherball, horseshoes, swings.

We offer hiking, mountain biking, and river shuttles as well as canoe/kayak/tube rentals and shuttles. Such trips should be reserved in advance by messaging us or visiting our website.

Our office sells firewood for $5/bundle. We also have a small array of custom woodwork items from our woodshop, freeze dried snacks and hiking restocks, food from local vendors, and souvenirs!

All primitive sites have a picnic table, fire ring, and campfire grill grate.

Electric sites are 30 amp, if using for tent camping you will need a 3-prong converter (we can rent one to you for $5 if you do not have your own). RV/Camper MAXIMUM length is 28 feet.

Tipi rental is a camping experience only; it does not have electricity, a/c or heat. There are solar lights inside. We do have a Queen Sized outdoor bed and bedding available to add to rental for $10/night.

Bunkhouse is a camping experience - bring your own bedding. A/C, heat, electricity, TV & DVDs, Microwave, and Mini fridge are inside. Guests use campground restrooms

Campground restrooms and showers are a short walk from campgrounds.

We are pet-friendly. Dogs must be leashed at all times that they are not in a tent or camper and friendly with other dogs and people. There is a working dog on the property-he is friendly with all people and dogs.

Starlight Haven Hot Springs

Surrounded by beautiful views, gorgeous lakes, and abundant wildlife, Starlight Haven Hot Springs has plenty of experiences for nature lovers and urbanites alike. Come enjoy the charming and unique town of Hot Springs.

Whether you are a mountain biker looking to hit the Northwood Bike Trails, or a wanderer looking to experience America’s oldest National Park, there’s something for everyone in Hot Springs. 

The shack sits in a secluded spot on the River. You might have the whole river to yourself, or people-watch as kayakers pass by in the summer.

Caddo River Secluded Shack w/Kayaks

Enjoy a park-like and secluded 2 acres on the Caddo River with over 1/4 mile of river frontage. This clean and comfortable shack is simple, but pet friendly! Watch the river and deer from the porch, kayak up and downstream from the property, swim in the 8-foot-deep swimming area or wade in the shallows.  Sit around the fire as owls call out and eagles and osprey soar through the valley.  It's a great place for a couple or the lone-traveler seeking a beautiful spot on the river! Free Fiber WiFi (great for streaming video or working remotely)!

The river is quiet most of the time, but can be crowded on holidays & warm weekend days. 

The Shack is simple but cute. Two kayaks are provided for guests! 

Bathe in the antique tub outdoors on the screened-in porch. (Privacy note: Although this spot is secluded, we recommend caution when getting in or out of the tub if people are stopped on the opposite side of the river. It's usually not a problem though!)

Several chairs are provided, and may be moved around as you seek the perfect spot to relax!

Ouachita Campground at Edendell

Ouachita Campground at Edendell is a great place to basecamp out of. We offer 26 full hook up rv sites with free wifi, tent camping, glamping deck, and guest house. We have 6 Kayaks for rent with optional shuttle service.  Near by activities are ATV trails, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, boating, crystal digging, diamond mine is 1 hour away. We also have an airsoft battle ground on site for special occasions.

Womble Inn Of Solis Manor

Mostly off-grid Ouachita National Forest property-line burgeoning homestead. Recently renovated 1960s 14ft camper set back away from 1942 original workhouse(main dwelling with private entrance back guestroom). Camper is solar and 12v battery-powered with 1500w inverter. Very comfy full bed, futon, 5000btu A.C., 12v Dometic 40L cooler, propane heat, stereo, coleman two-burner stove, hammocks and more. Hot running water private outdoor bathroom.

Multiple, high-watt, portable lithium 110v power banks available to fill in the blanks.

Cob and mortared cabin 200ft from house atop enough of a hill with professionally installed 7ft Olhausen pool table, surround stereo, wood stove, fun and games and is solar/battery powered.

Property is smack-dab Crystalville and 7 miles from Norman town center. Home to the smallest freestanding public library in the world. Founded during the Great Depression by the local ladies auxiliary club and remains open a few days a week thanks to wonderful volunteers. A newer dollar general and short order convenience store with gas station anchors the town. More or less equal distance from Mena and Hot Springs.

Hidden Star

Secluded in the Ouachita Forest and surrounded by trees, Hidden Star is just a short distance from the Ouachita River. Bring your side by side and explore the back roads or transport your kayaks up to the cabin. Jump on the Ouachita Trail on top of Hee Gap and do a bit of hiking or biking. Chill out on the wraparound porch, on the hot tub deck or in the outdoor living space.

Charming cleared and wooded property near Lake DeGray, Bismarck, and Hot Springs. Quiet and quaint. Three cabins available to rent, along with two RV pads with electric hookup. Tent spots coming soon!

Come out and enjoy some quiet time in the country! The fishing is good, the hiking is beautiful, and the folks are friendly!

Bluegill Hill

Located at the southern foothills of the Ouachita Mountains and the northwestern edge of Lake Greeson, this 6 acre plot of land is part of a gentle hillside that descends into the lake.&nbsp; Enjoy two trails to Lake Greeson and easily access nearby boat launches, public beaches, parks, and much more!&nbsp; Come make yourself at home on Bluegill Hill and enjoy the small  lake village lifestyle!

Enough space for our vehicle, and the road down wasn't too tough on the tiny prius.

The fire pit came in handy since we forgot our grill top.

Not much shade cover on Kitty Cove, so we ended up makeshifting our own. Quaint little spot to hang out and cat nap.

Launa Simmons

THIS PARK IS LOCATED IN LANGLEY, ARKANSAS! THE 911 ADDRESS IS UMPIRE ALTHOUGH WE ARE IN LANGLEY! This little park is located on the site of the Langley School, closed since 1968. All that is left is an old 1950 gymnasium which has been restored and is once again a viable part of the Langley community. Our site is self-contained only! Wifi is available onsite as well! This area has cell service but some carriers are better than others. This campground is where you go to truly get away! #eclipse2024

An old school site 6 miles south of Albert Pike Recreation Area and 5 miles north of Lake Greeson.  Wooded area with hiking trails nearby. 30 minutes from Crater of Diamonds State Park.

Sites are all pull-through and located on a circle drive so no hassles with backing up!

Area is scenic and well-maintained. Located 5 Miles south of Albert Pike Recreation area. 

We are 6 Miles south of Albert Pike Recreation area. Overnight camping is no longer allowed at Albert Pike. However, you can still swim, hike, and picnic! Play all day at Albert Pike and spend the night with us in the comfort of your RV!

All sites are pull-through! Easy access even for the largest RV!

The floating dock is available all year, except during or just after flooding.  The property extends to both sides of the river for almost 1/3 mile. 

Thunder Mountain Private River Camp

80+ acres all to yourself!! This beautiful and very secluded property, with river, kayaks, trails, and creeks is offered to only one group at a time to ensure peace, quiet, and seclusion.  No other guests will overlap your stay.  You will enjoy the peaceful solitude in nature completely alone! 

It's a great location for romantic getaways, silent personal retreats, yoga, playing in the river, or just spending quiet one-on-one time with your spouse or significant other. The last 1/2 mile of dirt road is a little rough, so cars with very low ground clearance are not recommended. 

Campers on Thunder Mountain enjoy the entire property by themselves - including the unique outdoor bathhouse with outdoor tub and shower, impressive multi-level decks, kayaks, grill, trails, hammocks, and tubes - without the cost of the cabin. The cabin on the property will be vacant during camping stays, but you can still enjoy the WiFi and other amenities outside.   

Pricing: $30-90/night camping; $190-280/night cabin - listed separately. Last minute bookings may have discounted rates.  Camping bookings for 1 to 2 nights are sometimes available even if the calendar does not show availability (due to cabin cleaning days).  We'll try to move our cleaning days around to help you out if possible.  If the price looks really high (like $999), that is a date that is available at a low price ($30-50) but will have a later check-in or earlier check-out time.  Just ask first before booking it and I'll lower the price!

We are surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest. Within an hour or less, you will find hiking and bike trails, 4-wheeling/ATV, crystal mining, diamond mining, historic Hot Springs, museums and so much more. Or, you can just put your chair in the water and hang out on the gravel bar.

Arrowhead has been rated as "The Best Swimming Hole in Arkansas" by the Arkansas Times®. Our facilities, located in Caddo Gap, include, cabin rentals, bunkhouse accommodations for 50 (w/separate quarters for boys & girls), screened pavilion with kitchen, RV sites with full-hook-ups and septic, semi-primitive campsites, bathhouse, nearby canoe and kayak rentals, swimming, fishing, basketball court, and tether ball.

Our property is family owned and operated, and has been in our family for many years since homestead. Come and stay a weekend or a week and enjoy the simple and breathtaking beauty of the Ouachita National Forest. 

Located in beautiful Montgomery County, Arkansas; Montgomery County was formed on December 9, 1842, and named for Gen. Richard Montgomery, a hero of the American Revolution. Sixty-three percent of the county is national forest land.

We are a short scenic 12 mile drive from Little Missouri Falls, Bard Springs, and Albert Pike with area hiking trails, cascading waterfalls, and beautiful backroads. We are within 10 miles of the Caddo River and local canoe rental. Glenwood is 20 minutes away with gas stations, restaurants, and flea markets.  Wegner Crystal Mine is located in Mt Ida, approx 40 minutes from our park. We are within a hour drive of Hot Springs; Bathhouse Row, Garvin Woodland Gardens, Mountain Tower, Crystal Ridge Distillery, Magic Springs, various tourist activities, restaurants and shopping. Mena is located within an hour drive of our park; Blue Zipline, restaurants, shopping.

Once a guest's books any of our sites, our Guest Terms and Conditions Waiver will need to be signed/agreed to this can be found on our website and will be sent via guest FIRST welcome email after guest books their site. 

Waiver must be signed before guest entry is given into our park, no exceptions, due to our insurance constraints! We must receive our signed waiver no less than 7 days prior to your stay with us, which we will not repeatedly ask for, your stay will just be cancelled! 

We may ask a few questions prior to accepting a booking request at our campground area, these are not ("maybe", "possibly", or generic answer’s that are needed) they are yes, no, and specific’s for your stay with us; if you do not wish to relay this information to us; then we kindly suggest you book your stay in another campground.

We are a privately owned park, we reserve the right to cancel a booking at our own discretion at any time; before booking, during booking; or during stay.

IMPORTANT River Usage: Southfork of the Caddo River is an extraordinary body of water and considered non-navigable; guest's may FLOAT down the MIDDLE of the creek for fishing, swimming, kayaking but must enter on our property, guest may not step out of the floating device on another person's private creek property and must remain in the floating device; during your stay guest's must stay within our private property creek footage for swimming or wading in the creek, if guest's encounter anyone along the river that does not allow this recreational activity please refer them to us, so we can refer it to the local game and fish department for investigation. It is always useful to carry your video camera with you so there is no he said, she said. We encourage our guest's to use the local lakes (Fancy Hill Lake, Lake Ouachita and Lake Greeson) and USFS streams for fishing and wading including the beautiful Little Missouri Falls.
