Phoenix is a close commute, where you will find many more amenities. Rent an off-road vehicle, boat for the lake (or bring yours!), or plan a tour and ENJOY YOUR STAY! We are more than happy to help facilitate your time here. We welcome pets, but do note there are occasional encounters with neighborhood dogs and plenty of wildlife. For their safety, best to keep them leashed or bring an enclosure. In the future, we plan to provide an enclosure for dogs to safely play and run off-leash. Daytime arrival highly recommended! We are Kevin and Tammii. We moved to Mesa in 2019 to build our own “Field of Dreams”. In developing our property we added a Hip-Camp site to our vision. We’ve enjoyed hosting people from all around the country. We’re can accommodate guests for up to three weeks and unable to offer monthly rates. We welcome families with up to two children. Pets are welcome, two or less, and we have a designated pet area for their use. There are two nice sitting areas, a laundry shed with washer, dryer, and drying rack. Internet access is also available. More about the “Field of Dreams”: Our site has a paved level concrete pad with 50 amp service, water, and septic. RVs are required to come with empty holding tanks because of the septic system. We can accommodate up to 43 feet in length RVs. There is a nice landscaped patio area with table, chairs, umbrella, and a privacy screen. There is also a propane fire pit available. Our site is close to Costco, Starbucks, local restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and a mall. There is nearby mountain biking, hiking, and site seeing. We are 30 minutes from downtown Phoenix in a quiet residential area.

The host even had lights strung up around the space, which I’m sure looked lovely at night… although I have to admit, I fell asleep before dark and didn’t get to enjoy them! What a perfect location! With views of the mountains, forests and horse farms it is hard to believe you are just a few minutes from Phoenix. Cheryl and Jeff were very accommodating, despite my arriving past my own bedtime, let alone theirs. The spot is next to an attached garage at their home, but it felt like my own slice of heaven. Hook ups and the dump station were close by and easy to get to. I arrived after dark and was a bit surprised when I heard animal sounds, but quickly realized it was the neighbor’s horses. That was a treat that doesn’t happen where I live. It was exceptionally quiet and peaceful and I will return when I have time to enjoy the scenery and explore the nearby attractions like hiking and restaurants. I was in town for a medical appointment and made it my launch pad to northern AZ. Thank you to both Cheryl and Jeff! See you soon..
