The ranch is located between Mesa Verde National Park, Hovenweep National Monument and backs up to Canyon of the Ancients National Monument. Our family has lived in McElmo Canyon for over 40 years and the campground has hosted camping and outdoor educational groups since 1965. We are a family run ranch with an operating hay farm, horseback riding business, and carriage shop.

We are also close to state parks monument valley is 22 miles away our yurt park has fire pits and hot water with clean sheets firewood is also provided! Our yurt is on the north east side of town past everything so you can see the stars at night

The location provides short walking distance to amenities nearby like the Dinosaur Museum, Four Corners Cultural Center, Centennial Park, grocery stores and more! We live on site, several feet away to be precise. But don't let that stop you from having the complete privacy you want! We have a mini farm in our backyard (so do our neighbors) so be prepared to occasionally hear animal noises. Don't worry I got you covered with a sound machine or the TV! I will greet you in person upon check in and walk you through the space! I want to make sure you are set since this isn't like a regular home.
