A treehouse in the city of Phoenix?! Yes. Our 1 acre property just outside of the heart of Central Phoenix has two legacy pine trees, one of which holds a treehouse that was originally built as an extra space for our family and is now open for guests.
Not too long ago, our neighborhood roads were dirt, and there are still several horse ranches in the neighborhood. Hiking trails start at the end of our street leading to the Phoenix Mountains and a 3 minute drive will get you to Dreamy Draw Park and Piestewa Peak, with endless miles of hiking and grand views of the city.

I’ve stayed here twice, both times a great experience. Proximity to boththe city and to nature. Flush toilet, sink, and shower are huge bonuses. It’s such a unique and picturesque spot. I felt lucky to find it on HipCamp. Niko is very responsive as well.

This cozy little treehouse feels like a woodland retreat in the middle of a neighborhood. It made me feel like a kid! The hosts were amazing. The outdoor shower was absolutely refreshing after a long day of driving. Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

At 29 years old I have never once been in a treehouse, I loved the treehouse! I love that I got to experience it. it had beautiful views, absolutely adored the birds chirping in the early morning and the sprinkler going off giving this amazing fresh smell of grass in the morning, it was such a refreshing wake up that I absolutely needed after having such a hectic week at work. Would absolutely recommend.

My goodness!!! This was such a wonderful experience. My friend and ai went out to Phoenix for the first ever Reggae Rise Up Festival in Tempe and stayed in Niko’s treehouse. Their ENTIRE house is beautiful and oh so peaceful ☺️…. The treehouse had everything we needed for our stay, I especially loved the shampoo and conditioner 😂. Showering outdoors felt so good, it’s a must have for a house. The sweet little old collie was walking around (as best she could), the swing was an added charm, I felt so calm and peaceful the entire weekend. I would definitely come back to stay another weekend.

Beautiful and fun treehouse to stay in! Lovely native landscaping with many birds. Phoenix Mtn Preserve hiking one block away. Very clean and functional full outdoor bathroom. Niko was very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The novelty of this stay can’t be overstated- a tree house! With really nice mountain views right from the bed and two block’s proximity to hiking, it’s a great place to stay. The suite is cosy and there’s a deck and chairs outside for relaxing and enjoying the environment and views. Other fun features include a swing below, a hammock and area for a little fire, nestled behind the beautiful natural desert garden at the front of the property which was full of life! The hosts (including the ancient dog) are friendly and everything was as advertised or better. The outdoor bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower with great water pressure.
