Talladega National Forest beckons with nearly 400,000 acres of sprawling wilderness, from dense chestnut oak and Virginia pine forests to the granite boulders and high peaks of Cheaha State Park. Days are best-spent rock climbing at Rock Gardens, hiking to Laurel Falls, and mountain biking on the Cheaha Express Trail.
