Treat yourself to a cozy, sophisticated getaway in a quaint historical lodging.

Gov. Mineral Springs Cabin, an old guard station built back in the 30s, is located just a hop, skip and jump away from the varied, lush expanse that is Trapper Creek Wilderness. You’ll be surrounded by a huge number of plants and wildlife, along with a symphony of cascading streams and waterfalls. The cabin is reachable by car, and pretty much all amenities are provided except for clean water. This place is well-loved, so reserve ahead of time!

February 2023 The fireplace is propane. When we called the ranger station they told us it was wood burning, I can confirm that it is definitely propane. There’s still wood stocked at the cabin, but there’s literally no place to burn wood.
