Our Standard sites are pull through, accommodating RVs up to 28' in length. Full hookups with 30 amp service, Wi-Fi, shower and laundry facility nearby. Perfect for smaller motor homes, tent trailers, pods, vans, truck campers, etc. We are also pet friendly, have bathroom facilities and hot showers! Our cabins are away from the RV sites in a secluded area surrounded by beautiful gardens and walkways. Learn more about this land: Welcome to Capitol Reef Country! Road to the Sun Ranch is located in beautiful Grover, Utah (elev 7,200') along Scenic Highway 12, one of the most scenic drives in the United States. We are a pet friendly RV only campsite. The property is a short 6 mile drive from the quaint town of Torrey, host of the annual Fort Desolation Festival and 15 miles by car from Capitol Reef National Park. Our location provides RV travelers with an ideal base camp for exploring the natural wonders of this region of Southern Utah and the majestic Boulder Mountain. The property consists of mostly pasture land, desert sage, pinyon pine trees and panoramic mountain views. The ranch is surrounded by some of the most amazing scenery anywhere and endless outdoor opportunities! We have a single (self check-in) RV/trailer/van parking area complete with water, power, sewer, WiFi and picnic table. All guests MUST have their own bathroom, clean up after pets and pack out any trash. We are unable to accommodate tent or car camping anywhere on the property unless you are with a group that has a trailer or RV equipped with a bathroom available for use during your stay and no open wood burning fires are permitted at this time. Max trailer length is 28'. Max RV length is 35'. Class A motor homes are not recommended. Livestock enjoy the adjacent pastures during Summer and Fall months typically (June-September). The RV site is available seasonally from May - October.

We built this Tiny home and lived in it for 8 years as we built our forever home. Many wonderful memories have been made in this tiny house and it is now available as a short term rental for others to create their own memories. Unplug from technology and reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. The space This Tiny House on wheels measures 8’x 24’ at 180 square feet. It is very cozy and comfortable. We do live on the property but a privacy fence separates the homes. The drive way is shared by guests and property owners. Amenities: -Excellent AC/heat. -Electricity -On demand tankless water heater. -Wi-Fi Kitchen has a mid-size refrigerator, 4 burner propane gas stove with oven, large sink and individual filtered water facet, microwave, toaster, coffee bar, and all cooking and eating hardware necessary to produce a meal. We provide coffee, tea assortment, creamer, sugar, spices, olive and avocado oils, and Farm Fresh eggs. Bathroom has a flush toilet, 36” shower stall with body wash, shampoo & conditioner dispenser. Bath towels, toilet paper, blow dryer, and small iron. The sleeping loft upstairs has a full size bed and small chest of drawers to keep clothing in. There is an extra fan for warmer if needed. The living area has a futon couch that makes into a full size bed. There is a speaker available to listen to music but no television. Out doors you will find a propane bbq pit, fire pit, firewood, and sitting area to enjoy the nights sky after a long day of traveling or hiking. Guest access When you exit Hwy 12 onto Road 200 West our driveway is to your immediate left. You will see the Grover Getaway sign at the beginning of the driveway. Follow the drive up then around to your right, arrow will indicate the turn. There will be a lower and upper guest parking area both marked with signs. You can park in either spot. Other things to note Grover Getaway Tiny Home is located on the North end of National Scenic Byway 12, six miles South of Torrey, UT. Amazing campground. We stayed in Loop B, which didn't have many RVs. Mostly tent campers and Van Conversion campers. It was more of a park setting at the start of the scenic highway with plenty of trees (but almost none close enough for hammocks). Some sites get more shade (loop B). Mule deer roamed from the orchards (nearest loop c) through loops B and A, to the horse corrals.

Great spot, with some great hikes nearby. Nice jumping off spot for a long day drive doing the Burr Trail loop. Gets very popular in the fall; people need to get there in the AM to get a site. Much more of a garden (well, orchard) type campground than the usual National Park offering; a sort of oasis in the desert, not a "wilderness" type experience.

No reservations for this stunning little gem in the incredible and underrated Capitol Reef National Park. Plenty of incredible photo and hiking opportunities. This campground tends to be noisy due to all the spots available and although there are plenty of trees to shade from the sun you'll still feel the heat. Great spot for family campers. You may want to come in on thursday for a weekend spot. The entry to the park has plenty of hotels and restaurants but bad phone reception. Best of all you can pick your own cherries in July, plums and pears in August and peaches and apples in September.
