Join us at Riverside Adventures for your next getaway. We are located on a 67 acre farm located on the Little Miami River in the heart of Warren County Ohio, also known as "Ohio's playground". We have 4 camp sites total, all with with river front access. Each site has its own stone patio, fire ring, and picnic table, with other amenities also available. We welcome both small and large groups and can help you plan events here such as family reunions, bachelor(ette) parties, and corporate retreats. With two canoe liveries within two miles of us (Morgan's Canoe Rental and Little Miami Canoe), you can drop your canoe or kayak in upstream and make your campsite a pit stop before getting picked up downstream by their shuttles. You can also rent a tube from us and go up and down our property or hang out on your tube anchored by the beach. We can also shuttle you upstream on Saturdays and Sundays. You can hike on our property to get scenic views of the Little Miami River Valley or spend time exploring Halls Creek (just down the street), the Fort Ancient Mounds, and others. We know other special local spots we can let you in on, too. We are just a 1/2 mile from the Little Miami Bike Trail and close to Caesar's Creek, Cowan Lake, YMCA's Camp Kearn, and Camp Joy. Plain Folk Music Cafe, Fresh to Morrow, Valley Vineyards, and Little River Cafe, are also short drives if you want to grab a bite to eat and vibe on some cool, local hangouts. We're just a 15-minute drive from King's Island and an hour or less drive from Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus. It's great out here, ya'll--join us! Learn more about this land:Our campsite is part of a land restoration project of One Earth Collaborative, LLC. This organization consists of artists, naturalists, musicians, and land stewards who are passionate about restoring our Earth to it's full healing. The property is 12 acres that stretches from the remains of an old bridge to the Oregonia Road bridge. There is a field with an organic garden, sunflowers growing and towards the river there are giant sycamores, cottonwoods and more. You may choose to pull your car into one of the field spots or park and walk into the garden forest and camp riverside.

Feel free to bring along your furry friends, as long as they are friendly with our animals. Rustic Retreat

Enjoy three vintage airstreams on an 1870s farm property. Lots of wildlife including a variety of birds, birds of prey like owls and hawks and deer. The local Little Miami Scenic bike path is the largest in the nation and is within 2/10 of a mile away. Other activities include hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, sailing, paddleboarding, trail running, bike rental and rock climbing. Guide services available.

Sweet Spot by Yellow Springs

The campsite is in an open meadow on our 5 acre property, next to the ruins of what was one of the oldest barns in the county (there are still some beautiful stone walls left). You will be surrounded by trees and the spot is completely private. Directly across the road from our property (a 5 minute walk) is the Little Miami Scenic Trail, the third longest paved trail in the US (amazing for biking). The unique village of Yellow Springs is only a 5 minute drive away with a great local grocery store and several cafes. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE BOOKING. Notes: 1) For camper vans: we do allow camper vans (not RVs or trailers) but you will need to park at the entrance of the meadow where there is gravel. Recently a camper got stuck in the meadow due to rain/mud (which is why we do not allow RVs or trailers). 2) We are still building a compost toilet so the option on the property now is to dig a cat hole at least 6" deep. There is an open public toilet in Yellow Springs and several businesses with open bathrooms. 3) The campsite is right off of Route 68. You cannot see cars from the site but you can hear them. The amount of noise from cars is lower at night. 4) The meadow is ideal for tent camping, though it is NOT a built campsite so it is not perfectly level throughout.

Good Knights Reserve

Good Knights Reserve is located in Union County, Ohio just on the outskirts of Marysville. With a total of 60 acres, you'll have nothing but peace and privacy on the back 15 acres of the property. A 1/2 mile drivable path will take you to the one site currently offered. Here you can pitch your tent, build a campfire, catch and release a few fish from the pond, or choose to sit on the floating dock with your feet in the water. A shooting range for target practice is available or take a short walk through the wooded trail. The camp site sits next to a wooded wetland so you'll fall asleep to the sound of croaking frogs and various other creatures communicating back and forth. A clean porta-john is close by and a small charcoal grill and picnic table with seating for 8 is available. The Marysville Upground Reservoir is just 2.4 miles down the road for more outside activities. There's also a dog friendly winery and brewery 2 miles away. Marysville boasts 5 golf courses and has several quaint bakeries and boutiques in the uptown area. Come visit Union County and discover the unique history behind its 7 covered bridges then return to Good Knights Reserve for smores around the campfire and a peaceful night's sleep. Route 33 is easily accessible.

The Shack

This elevated shack overlooks a pond and is conveniently located within walking distance of Cowan Lake. The road is a nice place to go for a walk taking in the wildlife, cattle farm, and ending at the lake. This State Park provides a wonderful opportunity to hike, bird watch, and enjoy water recreation. The lake has a 10 hp limit, so it is perfect for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, and sailing.

We have a farm field to our left and farm fields and woods to the rear of our property. Deer roam through our property daily. We are a few minute drive from Prairie Oaks Metro Park where hiking and water activities are available for those with kayaks or canoes. Water and 30A electric is available, but no sewer. Must have your own bathroom.

Grew up on this lake. Something everyone should know... the lake may not be sutable for swimming as it has a long history of high levels of e-coli. Which the park has no plans to combat. 30 years ago it was the place to be, the beach full of people. Now few go there to swim because they know. However, the park itself is beautiful clean and relatively safe. You can check water quality alerts in Ohio by going to https://publicapps.odh.ohio.gov/beachguardpublic/

Mostly open concrete pad type sites. A few walk in sites back in the trees. Campers' beach, horse/snowmobile trails. Well stocked camp store.

You need to walk almost 2 "blocks" to get to a restroom . . . Don't wait until it's urgent! 😆

The beach isn't handicap friendly, as it's a long climb down from parking. It's also the rockiest water you'll ever cut a toe in. A very pretty park, however, with a great marina.
