Shasta’s highest campground you can frolic in sub-alpine meadows, view a ring of Northern California Mountains around you, and be that much closer to the stars and the sometime strange UFO shaped lenticular clouds that hover at the mountain’s peak. When you are this high up, magical things have been known to happen.
