Chekaka Recreation Area and Campground (Lake Mendocino)

Located near the southern end of the lake near park HQ, Chekaka Campground has easy peasy access to the south boat ramp and day-use areas with volleyball, disc golf and reservable picnic shelters. Although you’ll have access to running water, this camp does not have flush toilets or showers. However, there is an RV dump station on the premises. The lake is in walking distance of all campsites and you can even take the trails.
