Aux Arc Campground

On June 17, 2024, I wrote a review about C-11. As stated, the site was very unsatisfactory and smelly.
After visiting with the office, they gave us permission to move to a different loop. We were told a lot of fishers use that loop and locals go in and out. It is a known problem. Our reply was it is unacceptable.
We have moved to F-10. The site is level and this area is clean and well kept.
This area being COE, does not make sense why one loop is so unkept while the other loop is so clean.

June 2024. Arrived C-11. This site was filthy and stinky. The fire pit was full with aluminum foil, beer cans and plastic bottles. After shoveling it out, we found a fly bag in the pit which was the horrid smell. Flies were everywhere because of the dirty pit. The picnic table top had ashes all over and the seats and sides were sticky.

This is a horrible place to tent camp. Power plant and factory noise 24/7 as well as trains.

Aux Arc Campground is a beautiful place to camp. Tents, sleeping bags, RVs, Motorhomes, etc... You can listen to the River run and watch the Geese, and other water birds, squirrels, etc... Very peaceful calm place to camp... and Steve is an awesome person to deal with!!

This is a nice spot for car camping and watersports. Just don't forget the bug spray!
