This property holds part of the original Oregon Trail. There are private walking/hiking trails with gorgeous mountain views, benches on which to enjoy the sounds of the woods, quiet and serene setting. The open space can be used to practice tomahawk/hatchet throwing, bow and arrow target practice. One may chop and stack firewood. feed chicken and collect fresh eggs. Available: Fire-pit cooking, berry-picking (seasonal) rock hunting and carry water from the live spring. There is fire-wood available for the fire pit. Wildlife: deer, bobcat, squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, owls, crows, coyotes, and hawks. Ask host for the coyote and crow calling device if so desired.
Cabin with deck, two single beds-trundle style, cot (upon request) bedding, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, direct-vent propane furnace, smoke and monoxide alarms, mini fridge with separate freezer, coffee maker, dishes, cups, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, two-burner stovetop, corner desk and chair, bookshelf (help yourself to a book to take home). Use the outdoor grill on the deck or cook over the fire pit and enjoy the beautiful view.
