Welcome to our property!We have 400 feet along the Yellowstone River and that just about says it all. We have two RV campsites on our property and on Hipcamp. Only one other RV campsite 60 feet away. We are only four miles to downtown Livingston and 39 miles to the entrance of Yellowstone park . We have an airstream on the property that is for our own personal use and is not for rent.Please keep in mind that you must have your own self-contained RV to stay with us, there is no tent or primitive camping. Water and electric are included but we do not have sewer or trash so please plan to contain and pack out any trash that you create.

Since it's so close to Yellowstone (30 min drive), Henry's Lake (10 min drive), Ennis (45 mins drive) & Bozeman (2 hours), we knew it would be a perfect "home base" for us to explore everything Montana has to offer. Learn more about this land: 21 acres near Cliff and Wade Lakes is set up for an RVs. * 2 - 50 amp power service w/ hookup * Drilled a 190'/20 gpm well w/ hookup * Installed a septic system - not hookup. Only for dumping. * RV corral to park in There are two pads (Site 1 & Site 2), which are rented out separately, however if you would like to grab both, please shoot me a message. Both sites have water & power hookup's. PLEASE NOTE: There are NOT a sewer/septic hookup's. We do have a dump station onsite for you to use. We also do not have trash service, so we kindly ask you pack-in and pack-out. The views are outstanding and you are minutes from fishing, hiking, hunting and exploring in Yellowstone National Park (30 min drive), Hebgen Lake (10 mins drive), Henry's Lake (10 min drive), the Madison River and Island Park. CLOSE TO YELLOWSTONE NP! This is a great spot with easy access to all the outdoor recreation that Island Park offers. A convenient 30-minute drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. A quick 10-minute drive to enjoy the beautiful day hikes of Harriman State Park. You can also hike directly from Camp Steelhead on the old historic rail grade and enjoy the views of the majestic Buffalo River. Enjoy a quiet camping area with the convenience of power hookups for your RV (30 amp) or just plug in your phone to the 110 outlets if you are tent camping. Close proximity to Highway 20 and easy access to services and dining. One RV/Trailer per campsite. Camp Steelhead is located within the beautiful Yellowstone Ecosystem. While we have not had any problems with wildlife. We ask that campers store food properly to avoid any issues. Yellowstone does not have a fence around it. Animals wander all through the area.

Angell Creek Campground

Angell Creek Campground is located in beautiful Island Park Idaho. It has been in our family for over 50 years. We are surrounded by pine trees, and it is a quiet place to escape the noise of the world. It is a place to recharge and enjoy the outdoors. Our campsite is close to West Yellowstone and only 30 mi. from Yellowstone National Park. Island Park has a lot to offer including: boating, waterskiing, fishing, canoeing, swimming, hiking, trail riding and much more. All of these activities are within a few minutes away. We are in close proximity to highway 20 and easy access to services and dining. We have a very large parking area where you can park trailers and vehicles. We have about 3 acres and have 5 RV spots. We have a central sheltered picnic area and a big fire pit. Each pad is rented at $40 a night with provided 50 and 20 amp service with an adapter provided for 30 amp service. No water or sewer is provided. There is a porta potty on location from June 4th-Aug. 30th 2024. Must pack out all of your trash or be a accessed a cleaning fee per lot. Although wanting to keep this campground in a primitive state, we will be adding a few updates in coming years. Pets allowed on a leash only.

Beautiful views of the mountains. Wildlife such as deer and elk frequent the property. Walking distance to everything Gardiner has to offer. Such as food, laundry mat and the historical Roosevelt arch.

This primitive campground is first-come, first-serve and you'll be more likely to find availability here than other popular spots such as Norris Campground. And, since it’s not likely you’ll have the time or energy to explore all of Yellowstone National Park, here are our favorite geothermal areas: Grand Prismatic Spring at Midway Geyser Basin, the mud pots at Artists Paintpot, Old Faithful and other geysers, Sulphur Caldron, the Mud Volcano area, and the terraces at Mammoth Hot Springs.

Love, love, love Yellowstone! Indian Creek is a 1st come 1st serve campground and they really mean it. We arrived and stayed in a hotel the night prior (planned because we drove so far) and arrived early in the morning to reserve our spot (<8 am). People come early to pick their spots. Each of these campsites has a bear proof storage box, picnic table. There are very strict rules to follow for yourself and future campers. No food left out. They will give you a list and it's also laminated on the picnic table.

It seems to have its own weather at any given time! so pack for ALL the elements including hail, snow, rain, lightning.. and it pounds the ground there if there is lightening so pre book a hotel in town too just in case your hailed out or lightening starts. If you dont you'll be without a place to stay for miles and miles because campgrounds empty into town when it occurs BUT! Its absolutely gorgeous, fun, fresh air and Buffalo, Elk and Bears roam free and abundantly out there its absolutely worth it.
