Relax and enjoy the views from the property, copious mountain views and look down on the Buffalo Bill Reservoir. Lots to do in the area including, world class local museum Buffalo Bill Center of the West, Yellowstone National Park, many trailheads in the Shoshone National Forest in a short drive. Only a 1/2 mile drive to thousands of acres of BLM and trials for OHVs at east end of the county road.Camp area has private Gate access, top of hill, relatively flat, can have a good breeze. Tent
This site just outside of Cody was quite scenic, and was a secluded as we could have hoped. The 20-25 mph wind all night long was a little bit of an adventure, but our tent held up just fine. There were small burrs everywhere, and I could only recommend to the hosts to try to clear an area for the tent of them, because they were definitely a nuisance taking them out of everything in the morning during our departure. Other than that, it was exactly what we expected, and we absolutely loved the serenity of the area.

Russ's place is great, easy to get to, convenient to Cody, GREAT views of the valley, quiet. Russ met us at the gate to ensure we were all set. Would definitely stay again.
