We are a quaint 6 acre farm off Jefferson HWY located in a small Amish community. You can enjoy the horse and buggies as they go by and nature paths bustling with native grasses, perfect for bird watching. We have an orchard to walk through and a blueberry patch.
Hiking, trails and horseback riding are located at the High Bridge Trail State Park.
Currently we have chickens, goats, pig and are doing work around the farm. Putting up fences. Working on our crops and getting it prepared for us and our guests. We have gorgeous starry nights. You are welcome to visit, if you don’t mind camping around our humble beginnings. This is a simple primitive pitch your own tent campsite on a 6 acre farm, surrounding an Amish community, right off the Jefferson HWY. We will be adding more sites and amenities in the future as we grow our farm and expand our HipCamp venture. You will park on property, but have a short walk to site.
We are 30 minutes from Appomattox and Farmville. We are 45 minutes to Lynchburg and about an hour from the mountains.
We are a farm surrounded by other farms. You are going to encounter nature. Typically everyone has livestock guardian dogs that may bark. Our dog is friendly, but does bark when encountering new people. He’s fenced in and tends to his area.
