Welcome to our RV camping spot in the hill country! This peaceful location is perfect for a getaway with easy access to lakes, rivers, and springs. We are also not too far from Austin if a day trip to the city is of interest to you! There is something for everyone here. Come park your RV on our property, full equipped with electrical, water, and sewage hookups. The spaces are level and you will park on loose gravel. Please note, these are back-in sites. This is a great plug-and-play spot so that you can spend more time getting outdoors and exploring the area! There is fire pit provided for you to build campfires and toast marshmallows. You can also have a bite to eat at the picnic table provided. We hope you'll enjoy this hill country camping as much as we do! We are located in Spicewood, TX - which is about 45 minutes Northwest of Austin. There is so much to explore in this area - we are near Lake Travis, Pace Bend Park, Pedernales Falls State Park (7 minutes from Pedernales River!), The Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge, Krause Springs, and more! Opportunities to go swimming, fishing, kayaking, and hiking are all around. Other Things to Note: - You can stay connected if you'd like to, as cell reception and wifi are both available on our property. Feel free to unplug during your stay though! - You will likely see other campers/visitors during your stay, the sites are not private. There are 2-3 RV spaces located within the same area. - There is spigot/tap water available on the property. - There is no toilet onsite. Please feel free to reach out with any questions and we look forward to your stay!Welcome to our RV camping spot in the hill country! This peaceful location is perfect for a getaway with easy access to lakes, rivers, and springs. Camping at Sandy's RV Park
Sandy's Land is AMAZING! The RV parking area is really nice, secure, and super scenic! There is an AWESOME outdoor cooking and seating area and a fire pit for you to ENJOY! Bring the BEASTS and let them ROAM FREE in the completely ENCLOSED dog park!

RV Camping In The Hill Country
Ok...not a real camping experience
We used this site as a base and explored state parks around the area during the day. The full hookups worked great and the host was friendly. Tips! Do not use the address in Hipcamp. Get the exact address from the host before you go or you will end up at the wrong property. Note to other RVs/trailers - the site is not level as described. We had to use 5 blocks on each wheel on passenger side to level side to side and our tongue jack was extended a lot to level front to back. Make sure you have enough blocks before you go. We definitely would not have been level if we had only had our curved levelers. It is on rocks, but not small gravel, more like 2-3" pieces. It seems like there is an apartment building with multiple units in the house, and parking near the gate used for day use was not ideal to navigate the cement retaining wall and the way the tenants park their trucks. "You may see other campers" means you likely will be camping on top of one another, not just that you might see them from time to time. The 3 sites are very close together, more so than any other place I've been to. Do not think you will be spaced out or that there will be trees between you. There is not a firepit and picnic table for each site. It is a community setup and they are a little ways away from the sites. We didn't use them. Watch for trees when using the turnaround. It's not wide enough to not scratch the trailer. Overall, seemed like more of a long term place than camping.

RV Camping In The Hill Country
Lovely spot! A lot of mountain biking trails, river access areas, state parks, etc etc nearby. Amenities like Whole Foods and other great stuff about 15 minutes away. The property itself is beautiful and the details are well thought out. Sandy is quick to communicate and always helpful! All-over great place. Close enough to Austin to head in for a day trip or quick visit.
