We have a beautiful 600 acre cattle property with plenty of room to spread out where other campers are nowhere in sight.  Here you will find that the serenity meets the bush. We have beautiful flat grassy sites situated on Gootchie Creek, and around our very large spring fed billabongs that never dry up. Come and enjoy the green flat grassy sites along the creek, you may even see the resident platypus. Enjoy some wildlife watching and escape from the city. Bring your hammock and gaze at cloud shapes. Camp fires permitted and bring along your pet too. We are located 45kms north of Gympie. In town you will find all the shops, fuel and supplies for your camping trip. A dump point has now been installed on our property for your convenience.Gootchie Creek Escape .... where serenity and the bush meet. So close to the highway and yet quiet. Lots of flat grass for my tent next to the creek. Cows came right up close during my stay to check us out.

Tent
Beautiful place to stay a night or two, very well maintained. Toilets and showers were a bit far from our tent (probably 200-300 meters) but quite clean. Also all the rubbish need to be taken out. ( no bins) Overall, great place to relax and refresh.

7 m pop-up camper · With kids
Overall was fantastic. Nice and private, plenty of space to spread out, and the kids loved the roaming cows. Very peaceful and pretty. Could do with more bathroom facilities, or at least some porta-loos across the site as only one bathroom is a fair way away from most camping areas and needed to drive up every time someone needed the bathroom. The kids liked swimming in the billabong, but the smell wasn't great and the water left them brown. I know it's a water hole on a farm, so just letting others know its not as ideal for swimming as you may like. Have been to other places with much nicer creeks and swimming holes. Overall though, was nice. If we were to come back, we'd probably come in mid to late autumn or early spring so swimming wasn't on the cards. Was stinking hot and a lovely creek would have made this place absolutely ideal.
