Welcome to Bahbakah Ranch! Our property is a new permaculture farm on 20 acres in the stunning North Burnett Region. Enjoy total off grid camping just a stone's throw from the Burnett River. Bring your fishing gear and catch your tea at the nearby Kirar Weir and enjoy some of the best sunsets you will ever see. If bird watching is more to your taste, perch yourself on the top of the hill and spend the day spotting eagles, finches, parrots and more. Our wide open spaces make finding the local wildlife a breeze. We are located in the heart of cattle country and our local town of Eidsvold (only a few minutes away) showcases our long history. Visit the R.M Williams Bush Learning Centre and discover this heritage for yourself. Explore the local businesses and experience the very best of what country life in Australia is all about. We look forward to seeing you soon! Leave no trace - there is no facilities here, guests will need to be self sufficient and bring their own camping toilet. There is no water or power provided. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Pets are allowed on leash. Bring your tent, caravan, camper or trailer and pitch up at the Top of the Hill!! This site is easy to access, close to the road and has great views. You will also be far from the main house and have plenty of privacy. The nearby public toilets are easily accessed from this spot as is the local fishing spot. A beautiful and quiet spot to enjoy your stay. Camping under the stars.

Tent

I had a great time with my stay. I was there to photograph the night sky, and it didn't disappoint. Very dark and clear. I was about to photograph the Andromeda galaxy, Pleiades and Orion in all their glory on both nights. The hosts were great and accommodating. The town of Eidsvold is also a lovely place.
