Thanks for checking us out! We purchased our 20.5 Acres of land in the 1970's. We lived in a small dwelling and lived off the land for years; with a large garden and small farm animals. Now, our property has become our retirement sanctuary, for us to use with our RV. We developed 2 RV sites with full hookups, including 30, 50 Amp and 110 electric. There is water and sewage hookups, at both sites. We would like to share this sanctuary with others, who would appreciate it. You can book 1 site or add the second site at the extras section, in check out. We are only renting to one party at a time. You will have the campsites to yourselves. Our property is one mile from Cowanesque Lake, where there is fishing, boating, and swimming. You will enjoy wildlife, on our property and in the surrounding area such as deer, bald eagles, various birds, hoot owls at night, and others. It is also within driving distance from the Finger Lakes and wineries, Watkins Glenn, Corning Glass Museum, Leonard Harrison and Colton Point State Parks, Hills Creek State Park, Mansfield University, Tioga Boar Hunting Reserve, and the adorable town of Wellsboro. There are no lights on our property and is very dark at night. It is best to arrive during daylight, for easier RV hook up. However, due to the darkness, stargazing is spectacular. We have been able to see the Milky Way, at times. There is only one other home visible from the campsites. Enjoy! We have two beautiful campsites, for you to enjoy, on 20.5 acres of land. Once you book the first site, you will be able to add on the 2nd site at checkout. We allow RV Trailers only and must be self contained (we have no bath house). The campsites have full hookups. The sites are spacious, with an area to maneuver to turn around. The driveway and campsites have loose gravel/stone. There is a grassy maintained area, which is about 2 acres, that you have access to play yard games, picnic, etc. There are private properties, with no trespassing, adjacent to our property. Unfortunately, you will not be able to explore into the wooded areas. There is only one home, somewhat, visible from our property so enjoy the privacy! We try to keep the campsite as natural as possible. There are no lights, so please ARRIVE BEFORE DARK!! There's a picnic table and firepit. The water is good, but it's hard water and we recommend a water filter. You will need to buy your own firewood. There are several local places to purchase firewood.

Calm and Peaceful
10 m travel trailer
This is perfectly named- super calm. Open skies for star gazing, deer friends in morning and at night, and felt very private.

2nd time here for us. We love hiking in the area, biking Pine Creek Rail Trail then coming back to our own peaceful RV spot on Calm Mountain. (Site is level, hookups are excellent.) Open sky had unlimited stars on our last night. This is one of our favorite Hipcamps.

RV camping

This place was wonderful! Very private, beautiful campsite with full hookups and good water pressure. There were tons of deer and a few bunnies to watch. Only downside was the water was a little smelly like sulfur.

We loved camping here, if you are looking for seclusion this is the place. The RV hookups and parking were perfectly appointed and we had an amazing time unwinding. We got to watch and storm roll through the mountains and it was just beautiful.

Calm mountain
9 m Class C
We loved camping in Calm Mountain. We had so much privacy, watching the deer walk out of the mist in the early mornings and seeing the thunderstorm come through the mountains. It is such a beautiful, calm space, truly lives up to the name. The land is so nicely kept and hookups were a breeze. There is a town nearby for supplies. We will definitely be back- 10/10!

Hilltop campsite
5 m travel trailer
Such a great place to camp! On top of a hill. Breezy, listening to the trees in the wind. Private, with all the amenities we needed including surprise wood supply and grill. Took the bike and explored the lake nearby and went swimming too. Close to Corning Museum of art.
