Guest access Access to BBQ grill & cozy fire pit on the outdoor deck. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE Only 1-2 pets are permitted during your stay at the Dome. Please note that Dome guests do not have access to Marmora Retreat's Farmhouse area, pool, and waterfront dock area. The hot tub may require up to 4 hours to reach optimal temperature, which can vary depending on the outdoor temperature. This year, we've encountered issues with wet wood, affecting our firewood supply. To ensure you have a cozy experience, we kindly request that all guests bring their own dry firewood. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. During the summer months don't forget your bug spray! Outdoor Fires - based around the Marmora township, all fire warnings are set at the time of your visit. All outdoor fires must be small, controlled and monitored at all times, they must also be put out with water before being left. Sound - after 10:00 pm there is a noise curfew, but even before that you must make sure you are respectful of other guests on the property who come to relax, as well as our neighbors in this quiet countryside region. In the event of any noise rule violations, such as loud music or disturbances after 10:00 PM, a $500 fee will be applied from the deposit. Power - we are on solar energy, embracing an eco-conscious lifestyle. Our off-grid setup ensures that your stay in the Dome is in harmony with nature. The water system operates on a pump-action system. Enjoy a sustainable, peaceful retreat, leaving a lighter impact on the environment during your stay.The property offers an idyllic and peaceful countryside retreat. The setting is nothing short of enchanting, with pastures neighboring friendly horses and open skies overhead, perfect for stargazing at night. Great little glamping spot! Furnished with everything you need, including drinking water, bedding, and towels. Very helpful host as well. The dome is off-grid but not in the middle of nowhere. There are a few houses nearby and a venue on-site, so you won't get complete silence, but it still feels very private. Marmora is super close and has everything you need - groceries, LCBO, pizza, etc.

Anniversary trip

With pets

I booked this for our anniversary trip. It was so perfect. Very private and the dome felt like a little home. The alpaca farm was so cute. I would come again! It was the experience of camping, but I didn't have to put in half the work of setting up a tent. My dog really enjoyed it too because he was able to walk around and see all the wild turkeys. This was just what we needed. I absolutely loved it! Although the hot tub wasn't working, they offered us to use the swimming pool as an alternative by the farmhouse which was so nice. I love how friendly and responsive they are. I have only good things to say. I plan to come back.

Relaxing Getaway!

We had a fantastic stay at the dome and were pleasantly impressed by how serene and beautiful it was! Everything was extremely clean and facilities were easy to use and added a relaxing experience. The wood burning hot tub was a major highlight! We saw lots of wildlife, starting with wild turkeys less than 10 minutes after we arrived! The solar lights on the deck provided just the right amount of light for a beautiful night atmosphere and we enjoyed a campfire. Coffee on the deck and visiting the alpacas was a peaceful start to our day. Thanks for a great stay!

The dome was super cool! It's huge inside! Very cozy and has everything you need. Beautiful deck with couch and solar lights and hot tub. Brendan was a great host and very helpful! The hot tub takes a few hours to heat up which we knew so just make sure you keep checking the fire to make sure it hasn't gone out. Wish we could have had better weather the day we arrived so we could have gone for some walks to check out the trails. We had some issues with smoke coming out of the woodstove but Brendan responded right away and came to figure it out. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

SUCH A FUN GETAWAY!

My girlfriend’s trip to Brendan’s accommodation was nothing short of incredible. The snowy night added such a fun aspect to it. Communication and booking with Brendan was very simple and straight forward. Check in was super easy, once arriving the pictures don’t do it all justice. Such cool and unique space. Starting of the wood stove and hot tub was a little tricky but figured it out. I’d recommend anyone with little or no experience to take advantage of his fire starting services to relieve hassle and avoid wasting time. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed, bbq did the job, the bed and furniture were lovely. The Done did get pretty warm inside despite it being a chilly night and day. The wood burning hot tub was a very unique experience for us, it was so nice and peaceful to lay in during the morning, we even had some turkey visitors who came to say hello! My girlfriend is the furthest thing from a camper so she was beyond skeptical but had an absolute blast and loved every bit of it!!

Dome Review

Overall we had a great experience. Property is large. Dogs enjoyed walking throughout. The dome itself was super cute - bigger than you would think given the pictures. We would recommend using their services to have the dome prepared and toasty for your arrival and if you’re planning on using the hot tub, that warmed and ready to welcome you too! Please be well versed with use of wood burning stove if you visit in chilly months… you will be using this steady throughout your stay to get the dome to desired temperatures/keep it warm! If you’re looking for a remote & private dome experience… this is it!
