We had an incredible time on Larissa's farm. My brother's family and I stayed for a weekend, and our 4 and 7 year-old attended farm camp with Larissa both days. Larissa was excellent with the kids, who both quickly trusted her and connected with the animals. The 7 year old responded and engaged a bit better than the younger one, but they were still both psyched to feed the animals, make farm-related crafts, and ride ponies (I mean, so was I!). Meanwhile, the adults watched the kids thrive, made crafts on our own, and genuinely relaxed in the mornings. Afternoons we visited nearby towns, and nights we cooked, sat by the fire, and ate smores. Exactly what we were hoping for!
The house itself is charming and had everything we needed. Larissa responded quickly when we had a question, and gave us great recommendations for family friendly hikes and restaurants.
As we were leaving, my kiddo asked when we'd be back. My answer was, "as soon as possible!"
