If you are looking for a place to camp in this area, we highly recommend BackPond! Lorraine was so welcoming and gracious. I made a mistake in my reservation and Lorraine was very understanding and made us feel at home immediately overlooking my mistake in booking. Her property is very well maintained and the campsite it well kept and flat. Perfect for the tents. The dogs were allowed off leash which is always a major plus and our dogs had the best time exploring the area. Her property has trails throughout that are also available for exploring. Having an electric hook up and a flushing toilet was also a big bonus! We definitely recommend Back Pond and hope to visit again one day!

Beautiful location!! Gorgeous, quiet pond view. Lorraine is a kind and accommodating host! Make sure to pay extra for the farm fresh eggs. They’re worth it!!

Barn, Horses, and a Great Host!

Lorraine is the epitome of "good people" - she was welcoming, accommodating, and went the extra mile to make our stay wonderful. Her property is nice and secluded, and we enjoyed the rolling hills going to/from the location. We were greeted in the AM with fresh eggs and coffee, and enjoyed some time with the horses. There was a bathroom in the barn, and we felt safe and taken care of. We hit a little bit of a rainy spell, so it was nice to be able to store some of our gear in the barn. I highly recommend this location, and Lorraine is a fantastic host!
