Rainforest Gateway is a family-owned park set on five acres of waterfront camping. Nestled alongside Grady's Creek in the stunning Border Ranges of norther NSW, just 20 klms north of Kyogle and 15 klms from the Queensland Border on the popular scenic tourist route, Lions Road.
The park features grassy powered sites, unpowered sites and 3 x one bedroom units. On-site amenities include hot showers, flush toilets, laundry and camp kitchen.
We are a dog-friendly park so the whole family is welcome. Dogs need to be restrained at all times. NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS.
Relax and unwind by the creek, go for a paddle, or sit back enjoy a drink around the campfire at night with our family atmosphere. With great views, tranquil bushland, abundant wildlife and the Border Ranges National Park close by, there is always something to do.
Firewood and ice available for purchase. We have Telstra coverage, plus Wi-Fi is available at the camp kitchen.
We were welcomed and given several opportunities to camp on the green and lush camp grounds
Our kids loved the dogs - particularly Russell (!), and being so close to Border Ranges NP allowed us the convenience of doing a full day walk through the trails
Only negative was the price which was a touch over the normal for that type of camping, I guess because of the facilities which were of high standard
Many thanks for having us
Was a beautiful spot, really well set out camp sites close to the creek, facilities were great - loved the rustic but functional camp kitchen and communal area, friendly caretaker, really enjoyable stay.
What a great spot. Clean amenities, perfect grass, beautiful spot to sit down & unwind. Creek swims right at your doorstep. Beautiful views to the milky way due to no light pollution. Loved it!
Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Grosse, ebene Plätze. Möglichkeit 🔥 Holz zu kaufen, wird an den Platz geliefert. Sanitär sehr sauber. Wunderschön im Bach zu planschen.
What a location!!! Right beside a stunning flowing creek. Beautifully maintained grassy campsites with amazing amenities. Pete and Jannine are incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They also kept us updated with the Cyclone Alfred situation and the rising level of the creek.
Can’t wait to return! Thanks
I loved the wide space allowed for each site overlooking the creek. Ample room to enjoy a private view and a gorgeous spot to have a dip on a hot day! Very well maintained camp with plenty of extra facilities if needed. My border collie loved it too!
