The 130 acres site hosts Agricultural events during the year. It is also run as a working farm and has grassed areas and power sites with access to showers, toilets and a dump point.
The grassed area overlooks a Billabong with trees and wildlife with a background to Mount Canobolas.
Condition of Billabong and grassed area are subject to climatic conditions.
The site is in closer proximity to Vineyards and Cellar Doors.
Borenore Billabong offers a peaceful camping experience with plenty of open space and beautiful sunsets. The campsite is well-maintained, with ample shade and clean amenities, making it a comfortable base for exploring the Orange region. Many campers appreciated the tranquility and the company of local wildlife, like ducks and birds near the water. While most found the directions clear, one review mentioned difficulty locating specific sites, which might be something to keep in mind.
Great campsite. With electrical power. 2 bath rooms in C street with clean water, 2 bath rooms in H street with bore water. This is a big campsite. So I would suggest to have more bath rooms as there are many people. Overall. Great. Love this campsite.
Lucky us, we were the only people there. Lots of space for the kids to ride their bikes.
Gorgeous country NSW sunsets. A great spot close to fruit picking farms and cellar doors.
