Beautiful, tranquil site, with one Shepherds Hut and area for sole use. Nestled in the valley in Rake Hampshire with stunning views throughout the year. Surrounded by Ancient woodland walks. 5 min drive or 1 hour walk to our family farm, Durleigh Marsh Farm, where you will find a Tea Room, Pick Your Own fruit and veg. Farm Shop and Barn Emporium with lots of wonderful boutiques to look at. Fallow can accommodate 2 Adults and up to 2 children. the extra beds are for children only. Come and enjoy the beauty, peace and immerse yourself in nature. Due to the tucked away location you will receive detailed directions after booking. This site is a private field for sole use. Beautiful peaceful land nestled in the valley in Rake, South Downs National Park. One Shepherds hut able to accommodate up to 2 Adults and up to 2 children as the extra beds are for children only. We have a separate kitchen bathroom about 10 steps from the Hut. Fully equipped with everything you would need. we have a fridge and double gas hob. We have a fire pit with 4 stargazing chairs. We have outdoor table and chairs and indoor table and chairs. we have a shower and hot water onsite. No light pollution so the night sky is just amazing here! Everything onsite is powered by solar, giving you a real off grid feel. We don't have wifi but the 4g works pretty well in this area I find, and that is if you want it as you may wish to just immerse yourself in the peace and nature.

Fallow Coombe Glamping
Well rested weekend!
Had the most beautiful weekend with my family. My husband and 3 year old had such a magical weekend. We had so many plans to go explore but ended up staying mostly at the camp. This little "cozy home" as my 3 year old called it has everything you need, the complimentary eggs, hot choc and marshmallows were an absolute hit! The fire pit/BBQ was great, we used it for all our cooking! The fire wood is amazing!! The shower was mom's favourite! Hot and full pressure! And then to end it all off, the bed and linen!! We all slept so well. We went to bed with the foxes and we woke to owls hooting just before sunrise! Make sure to stock up at Durleighmarsh farm shop for your groceries, so fresh and so much choice!! Great communication with Alice. Definitely will be back!!

Fallow Coombe Glamping
We loved staying at Alice’s Shepherds hut. It felt very remote as it looked over a big open area. The fire pit with the star gazing chairs were perfect for a cozy evening roasting marshmallows and looking at the stars. There was very little light pollution so we could see so many of the stars! 🌟 The hut itself was lovely and spacey, the table extends making it big enough for indoor breakfasts and board games. Alongside the bio ethanol heater, it was so lovely and cosy in here. The bed was also a great size and very comfortable, I had such an amazing sleep. Groceries and restaurants a short drive away, so very well located. The kitchen and shower/toilet were in a separate hut a few steps away. The space has clearly been well thought out, and everything that we needed for home cooked meals was provided. Alice was also very responsive and friendly with any queries we had. I would highly recommend, and I look forward to coming back here sometime again.

Perfect Glamping Weekend
We just had a weekend away at Fallow Coombe (myself, partner, son and dog) and we absolutely loved it! The campsite is so well set up and has everything you need: hot shower, bathroom, great cooking facilities, plates, glasses, outside table and chairs etc etc...It's in a truly beautiful setting at the end of a secluded field teaming with butterflies. We were able to cook some delicious fish and BBQ food over the grill/fire and have breakfast in the sun. My partner is a bit 'camping averse' but this was so comfortable (the huge bed especially) that she had a great time and we agreed we'd definitely come back. I think the star gazing helped seal the deal. The only thing I would add is that I didn't get any phone signal there but personally I enjoyed the digital detox on this brilliant family weekend.
