Absolutely beautiful property in the mountains of the Roaring Fork Valley. Just 5 miles north of HWY 82 between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. A quick trip to downtown Carbondale, Willits & Basalt.
Fall asleep to the sound of the rippling creek and enjoy waking up to deer and elk grazing in the meadows. From any of the mesas, you have 360-degree views of Mt. Sopris, Snowmass, Sunlight, Basalt Mtn, and Cottonwood Pass. The hillsides are dotted with wildflowers, sage, and serviceberry.
Whether you are visiting mountain fairs, hiking our many trails, fly fishing our amazing rivers, attending Aspen Food and Wine Festival, the Aspen Music Festivals, Glenwood Adventure Park, Iron Mountain Hot Springs, Maroon Bells, Hanging Lake, Mushroom Rock, bike racking, hiking to Crested Butte, dirt biking Cottonwood Pass, or rafting the Roaring Fork we have the space for you to enjoy the peaceful outdoors and rest.
Coulter Creek is a great place to disconnect and unwind! There is very limited wifi and cell reception throughout the valley floor.
The grounds were well kept! Robert was very easy to contact and speak with also very accommodating. Directions were clear. Would love to come back for more than a few days next time.
This camping spot is gorgeous! Robert is a delightful host and has created a nice oasis in Colorado. I had to leave early, however, the stars were out, the moon was bright, it felt safer because other campers were nearby. The little creek running through provided lovely sound and animals as well. I will be back!
I loved camping on Robert’s land! Robert was a great host, he waited on the property for everyone to check in and was around for questions. We found some wasps in one of the outhouses and Robert took care of them right away and checked on the outhouse everyday to clean it and help with the wasps. It was a great stay in a beautiful area. Decently secluded from others with amazing views all around. Would definitely stay again if I’m back in the area.
