Hi Hipcampers! We have 4 acres overlooking our farmland which has rotating corn, alfalfa and wheat. We offer dry camping for RVs, trailers and tents (at this time, we have just dirt to camp on. We allow you to pick your spot to camp! Our favorite spot would be to camp in the land right behind our backyard where we have a fire pit and access to our pool and backyard of trees, grass and outdoor half-kitchen and bar. We also have swings, a HUGE play area for the kids and it’s just beautiful to hang out and relax in.

The campsite offers a welcoming atmosphere with hosts that are often described as kind and accommodating. Campers appreciate the pool and fire pit, though some have noted maintenance issues, particularly out of peak season, such as cleanliness concerns and noise from nearby gatherings or equipment. Privacy might be limited due to bright lights and noise, but the view and peaceful mornings are highlights for many. While the property is not ideal for those seeking complete solitude, many visitors have enjoyed their stay, especially for its proximity to Sequoia National Park.

Disappointed

The one night we spent at the sure was ok, and the pool was lovely and refreshing. However, the bathroom by the pool was not clean and there was no toilet paper so we had to bring our own. It just seemed like things weren't being maintained for campers because it was past the summer season.

not quite what I expected
6 m Class B · With kids ·
the space looks as it does online. with a full day of hiking, I would've booked another place with a pool had I known it wouldn't be open to us until 10pm that night (I have a 7 year old). Just a heads up if you want to stay on a Friday night when I went, there was a youth Christian music gathering I was invited to on the property. sweet, just not best for sleeping with music blaring until 10/11pm when I had 9 hours of driving the next day.

Great & Pool, But Noisy/Bright
Our host was friendly and accommodating, and we really appreciated her! She took extra time to answer our questions and show us around. The property didn’t align with our expectations based on the listing. There wasn’t a feeling of privacy due to bright lights both on the camping area of the property, and on the adjacent property, which the host has no control over, and we respect that, but felt it needed to be included for other campers to be aware of. There was a cute area by the fire pit that we would have liked to camp on, however, the fairly loud hum of the pool filter kept us from setting up our tent in that spot. We did have access to a magical pool and cabana area, and we were grateful to be able to use the cabana fridge to keep our food and drinks cold. Overall, it was a decent place to spend the night and take a dip in the pool, however, if you are looking for a very quiet, dark camping experience, this may not be the best choice.

Safe & Amazing Hospitality
First time: *Camping as a solo female *Using this App My goal was to go to Sequoia, but I couldn't because I needed reservations. The owners of this property did not only open their home to me, but their arms and heart wide open as well! They are amazing, heart warming, cozy people! They made me comfortable instantly! They let you park wherever you feel more comfortable at since its a huge piece of land in the back! They make sure that you park somewhere comfortable whether its around more campers or being more on your own. They technically have two restrooms, an actual toilet and portable potty (Super Clean BTW). They have a fridge you can access to and other amenities that you can use. Waking up to their view was amazing and wholesome. I saw the sun go up in peace and quietness. I wish I stayed longer to get to know them. Based on a few comments I heard, it sounded like to me that they had interesting stories to share! I definitely would like to come back here to camp again and hope on getting to know them more! Bonus: They're a sweet religious family, which means alot to me because I'm Christian and I'm more in ease being around people with any religion that has good faith. **TIP: If you're trying to get to Sequoia from their location I recommend leaving twice the minutes your maps may tell you (for around the time/month) since there is construction occurring as you get inside the park and closer to the trees or take the longer way from this location.

Such an Amazing Experience

Both Henry and Frances were amazing hosts, the campsite was incredible with a toilet, pool, campfire and fresh eggs at our disposal! The campsite was calm and quiet and we felt super safe staying here. We were about 45 miles from Sequoia National Park which made it better for us. There are also local farmers selling fresh produce nearby. Definitely would recommend this camp and be sure to get there early to get the best spot which is in between the chicken coop and campfire!
